In Honkai: Star Rail chests in the Dewlight Pavilion located on Penaconia, are small decorated boxes that hold various treasures ranging from hour credits and ending star jades. In this guide you will learn where they can be found and how to open them, because to gain access to some chests you must first solve a puzzle, complete a quest or defeat dangerous opponents.
Where to find chests in Dewlight Pavilion
We are talking about the Family mansion, located in the Flash of Morning Dew and intended for holding meetings of the heads of the five clans, where they discuss important issues. Outsiders are not allowed in here, with the exception of honored guests with appropriate permission. You will have access to this location as part of the quest chain "Cat Among Pigeons", however, we advise you to start exploring it after completing all the missions in the line, so that you can visit all corners of the area.
The main location consists of several levels in which you can find 17 ordinary, 5 valuable, 6 luxury chests + 1 chatty Trash Can.
A special feature of this map is the additional location “City Diorama” with its own navigation: here you will find 9 ordinary, 2 valuable and 1 luxury chest + another Tank and a Piggy Bank.
Thus, for exploring the entire Morning Dew Residence, we will receive:
- 39 chests of varying value;
- 2 trash cans;
- 1 piggy bank.
Below we will take a closer look at all the significant places on our treasure farming route. .
Normal chest 1
The first casket is located on the right side of the room at the entrance to the Residence, between the reception and the sofas.
Regular chest 2
The second trophy is in the room with bird monuments - according to the story assignment " Double indemnity "Here you need to solve a puzzle with rotating statues. The reward is behind the medium blackbird in the western half of the room.
Chests 3-5[3D-карта]
After the room with the steel blackbirds, move to the first 3D area in the southeast of the map: the room contains 3 chests of varying value.
Regular chest 3
The usual trophy is behind a stone partition, opposite memorial bubble fountain.
Valuable chest 4
The valuable chest is located on the plane across the bridge in the right half of the room (when viewed from the entrance on the 3D map): look behind the semicircular balcony and fight the memes guarding the valuable chest.
Luxurious chest 5
And the luxurious trophy is located on the opposite surface from the previous surface, along the springboard in the left half of the room (looking from the main entrance): before you get it, fight in duel with a strengthened opponent. Enemy team vulnerabilities: Imaginary, Electric and Quantum (main enemy); Physical and Wind (minions).

The next chest is located under the eastern stairs leading to the first tier of the Hall of the Dream Lord (anchor): look into the nook and get your reward.
Regular chest 7
To the east of the previous reward there is a passage into a rounded room: there is another regular trophy here. Be careful - on both sides of the entrance, behind the door wings, there are hostile mobs.
Garbage Bin 8
Return to the anchor in the Diorama room and follow the stairs to the upper tier in the western half of the Residence: under the stairs there is a Harsh Trash Can (by quest with Ratio and Aventurine she's not here).
To make the tank happy with your answers, choose the following options:

Valuable chest 9
We rise further, straight to the mini-game with Mosaic of dreams – after solving it, a valuable chest will appear.
Regular chest 10
From the puzzle puzzle on the western half of the upper tier of the Hall of the Dreamlord, go towards the southern entrance: there is another chest in front of the fallen steel blackbird.
Chests 11-17[3D-карта]
Let's move on to explore the second 3D area, which can be accessed through the upper floor corridor on the western half of the Diorama room: there are 3 normal, 2 valuable and 2 luxury trophies.
Regular chest 11
The very first loot can be collected from a regular casket to the right of the entrance.
Normal chest 12
The next one, also an ordinary chest, stands on the wall in the left half of the hall (looking from the main entrance): activate the fountain and open the nearest bridge. After passing along it, immediately turn left and see the reward.
Valuable chest 13
From the place with the 12th casket, go to the second unopened bridge and go down it to the floor (you will find yourself on the opposite half of the hall): a faceless man with a puzzle frame will stand next to you.
Click on it, and when one of the pieces flies away, go to remote control near the recess with exhibits and repair the passage. The path will stop shaking and you can take the piece: return to the solution Mosaics of dreams.
Place the two puzzle pieces in their places, activate another switch and pick up the reward in the center of the hall.
Valuable chest 14
For the 14th valuable chest, climb the bridge not far from the exhibits displayed in the recess of the wall: once on the wall, run to the place battles with strong opponents (it is always marked on the map). Engage characters of all damage types in battle, except Quantum (there are no vulnerabilities to it) - and the reward is yours.
Regular 15 and luxury 16 chests [Мини-игра Хану]
To the right of the competition for the 14th trophy there is a bridge, unfolding which you can get into the space with Mini-game for the gnome Hana. Transform into a cartoon through the screen with the joystick and follow the instructions below.
First of all, you need to get to teleport rockets, which stands near the nearest memorial fountain. There will be a bazooka immediately behind it - select the weapon and maximize clearing the area from enemies (for each target you hit you will be given a cartridge that replenishes the rocket launcher magazine).
A regular chest can be obtained by aiming at the boxes with pyrotechnics near the wall (when Han's vision is activated, it is difficult not to notice them). And the luxurious trophy stands around the bend in the far part of the explored area.
Luxurious chest 17
Return to the machine with the Han mini-game and expand the bridge near the gnome box: along it you can get to the last, 17th trophy.
The springboard for the reward leads to a small area on the ceiling of the room - from here you can pick up a part to activate the Diagram for the quest " Double indemnity "
Regular chest 18
The eighteenth chest is located in the meeting room in the north of the map; it can be looted to the right of the entrance.
Chests 19-30[3D-карта]
The 3D map to the east will be closed until you start the side quest " Freelancer "
During the task, you need to complete several orders from Burton, and return to this 3D map three times: each time new caskets will appear on it - in total 11 pieces.
- Stage 1: 2 regular and 1 valuable chests.
- Stage 2: 2 regular and 1 luxury chests.
- Stage 3: 2 regular and 1 luxury chests.
In addition to the caskets for the quest, at the third stage you can stumble upon Mini-game for Hana, when completed, you will come across a couple more chests and hidden Walkers of the Dream World.
Activate the machine with a mini-game, and already in the form of a gnome - pick up the bazooka to the right of the passage to the area with mobs.
Having received the weapon again deal with the monsters : Walking TVs walk past the pile of pyrotechnics in the center - shoot it as they approach. Collect ammo and destroy the remaining enemies.
To get a regular chest, follow the books into any of the holes in the wall, and then shoot at the pile of pyrotechnics against the wall - a trophy awaits behind it.
The luxurious chest is guarded by winged monsters - it is enough to hit one at a time in the center to hit everyone on the spot (you only need one cartridge).
In the room behind the destroyed wall, in which we found an ordinary chest, there is another pyrotechnics. If it is blown up, an area will open with hostile monsters guarding Walkers.
"Diorama of the City"
There is space left inside the Diorama of the city, standing in Hall of the Dreamlord. The additional map has 12 more chests and 1 Tank.
Normal chest 1
The first one is in the alley east of the only teleporter, on the eastern half of the map. There is a mirror meme hanging around the chest.
Regular chest 2
Now move to the central square: the second chest can be found near the building north of the teleport.
Regular chest 3
Go north, to the tables under the umbrellas: behind the round flowerbed with palm trees, under which the NPC lies flat, there is a 3rd chest.
Valuable chest 4
Stands near the previous trophy picture puzzle, having collected it, you will see a place with a valuable reward.
Regular chest 5
The fifth casket is located in the center of the square, under one of the giant glasses.
Regular chest 6
To loot the 6th, go to the building with a stone canopy behind the bar: the chest will be near the column, not far from the fire hydrant.
Regular chest 7
For the 7th chest, run to the western exit from the Diorama: it can be opened in the gap between the benches.
Garbage Bin 8
From the previous place, turn the camera north: in front of the door with card suits stands Ardent Trash (in quest with Aventurine she won't be there).
To make this conversation bring you some jade, answer like this:
- " I'll take the bat... ";
- " I will hit... "
Regular chest 9
Now we run into the passage to the left of the NPC stuck waist-deep in textures: here, in a small nook in the southwest of the map, you can loot the 9th reward.
Regular chest 10 and piggy bank
For the second half of the awards we climb up Spherometu in the central square (the activation diagram is shown in the screenshot above).
Once on the roof of the building, go around it to the second throwing device: along the way, if you have already completed the mission " Double indemnity ", a piggy bank will appear. And the chest will be behind the gate.
Regular chest 11
We move along the second Spheromet to the next roof: the eleventh chest is located at the edge of the building, between the benches and a table with an umbrella.
Valuable chest 12
The twelfth, valuable reward will appear after you complete the puzzle picture on the second roof.
Luxurious chest 13
And the last, luxurious chest is a reward for victory over a strong enemy. To get to it, return to the first roof and change the directions of the mirrors (hint in the screenshot above). It is better to take Fire and Ice heroes (pawns) into the squad; Imaginary, Quantum and Electric types (the main enemy).
