In Honkai: Star Rail Hour Credits are a kind of in-game currency that is required to receive gratitude from the Hour statue in Penaconia. You can earn it by finding chests, revealing secrets and completing certain tasks.
In this guide, we will describe all the ways to obtain hourly credits, and also tell you what you can spend them on, and what rewards you will receive for using this world currency. Note that similar money is available in other worlds: Shields (Yarilo-VI), Hertariums (Space station "Herta") and Arrows (Lofu Xianzhou).
How to Earn Hour Credits in Honkai: Star Rail
According to the game description, we are talking about the commemorative currency of Penaconia, so you can only get and spend it on the marked planet. Although it is digital money, minted coins in the form of tokens can be found in circulation. Next, we will tell you exactly how you can get hour credits.
Adventure Missions
A relatively simple and quite profitable way to earn hourly credits, since for most side quests you can get 360 units of currency. At the moment on the planet you can complete only 5 tasks with a corresponding reward, namely:
- "Slaughterhouse" – you will not receive hour credits for the mission itself, but as part of it you can open many chests, from which you will get several hundred hour credits.
- "Imagine the coming rose" – 360 hour credits are awarded for completing the task;
- "Space Superstar" – 360 hour credits are awarded for completing the task;
- “A good person is not easy to find” – 360 hour credits are awarded for completing the task;
- "Peace Among the Trees" – 360 hour credits are awarded for completing the task.
Thus, you can earn almost 2 thousand hour credits on quests. Most likely, this will change in the future when the developers introduce the remaining locations of the region by adding new missions. Please note that many tasks open only after completing certain story missions and reaching Mastery level 34 or higher, so you will not be able to get currency right away.
Clockwork missions
Unique quests, present only on Penaconia. They are associated with changes in the mood of certain characters using an emoticon dial. After this, you will receive certain tasks from them. For completing one such mission you can get 180 hour credits. There are 14 of them in total, and all of them are discussed in our separate manual. This way you can get 2520 hour credits.
Chests
We advise you to start exploring all the locations of the planet of entertainment, since on its territory you can find a considerable number of chests in which, in addition to star jades, you can find hour credits:
- A regular chest contains 30 hour credits.
- The valuable chest contains 60 hour credits.
- The luxury chest contains 120 hour credits.
At the time of writing, over a hundred chests could be found in Penaconia, thereby receiving at least 2 thousand hourly credits. In separate manual We've shown the locations of all the chests in this region.
Secrets and exploration
The most time-consuming way to earn hourly credits, since these secret mini-quests and puzzles are often not marked in any way on the map or in the quest log. Plus, some of them require collecting and finding certain objects in different locations. Currently, currency is issued for the following riddles and secrets:
- Walkers of the Dream World – There are 15 puzzles in total, for each of which you can get 60 hour credits.
- Royal tanks – in total you can find 8 trash cans. For solving each riddle you get 120 hour credits.
- Mosaic of dreams – There are 11 puzzles in total, for each of which you can get 60 hour credits.
- Origami birds – by finding birds in a certain area, you can receive 180 hour credits from the main bird.
How to spend hourly credits
This currency can currently be used only in one place - at the statue of Chasik, located next to the spatial anchor “Chasik Square”, located on the first floor of the Golden Moment location. The pictures below show its exact location.
Rewards for leveling up the Chasik statue
By collecting certain amounts of this currency, you will increase the level of the Chasik statue and receive various rewards. When you reach level 10, a new quest starts called “Every sandpiper in its swamp is great I.” You will need to chat with Chasik again near the statue. After this, 10 more levels of pumping will open.
If you use all the ways to earn Hour Credits listed above, you will be able to accumulate enough to upgrade the Hour Credits statue to level 20 and receive all possible rewards.
