    In Baldur's Gate 3 The Falar Aluwe sword is a rare type of bastard blade from Act 1 of the game that can be found in the dark Underdark. This long sword, epically stuck into a stone altar, is endowed with both buffing and debuffing effects and, very rarely, has fencing properties. From our guide you will learn where to find this singing weapon and how to easily remove it from the rock, as well as about its properties and benefits to the squad.

    Where to find the Falar Aluwe sword in Baldur's Gate 3

    The shimmering blade, deeply immersed in a stone altar, is located in the Poddemye ( X: 116; Y: -191 ).

    Nearest teleport: Selunite Outpost, which can be reached through passage in front of the puzzle with moon circles in the depths of the Goblin Camp.

    How to get the sword Falar Aluve from stone

    To make Falar Aluve succumb to your attempts to get him, you can select entire 4 ways :

    • Single test of increased difficulty on Strength . " Grab the sword with both hands and pull » ( KS 15 ): it is advisable to use buffs/after a successful result, the hero will immediately take out a weapon;
    • Trial Religions : " It seems like a sacred place... » ( KS 15 ) → « Drop a few drops of blood... » ( no dice roll ) - the blade will shine and fly out of the altar;
    • Simplified checks for Paladins : "... Think about what ritual might suit the situation "( DC 10 Religions with advantage ) - the hero can also guess about the blood sacrifice and receive a sword without dice rolls, or choose the option with a second Charisma check (DC 10);
    • Option no checks : Stand close to the sword and hit any character with your hand Shadowheart (or herself with any ally) so that the blood gets on the altar and causes an impulse from the sword → then click on the blade - in the dialogue, Falar Aluve will immediately feel the call of the blood and fly out of the stone, as after checking for Religion.

    It's better to choose Religion check and perform the ritual, as it will bring + 30 thousand experience for Shadowheart for opening her “Inspirational Event” (if she is in the squad).

    Who is it suitable for and how to use Falar Aluve

    Falar Aluwe is a rather remarkable weapon, opening up several additional actions and activated skills for attack, crowd control and support of allies for the owner. Another plus is its fencing properties, which a very limited number of longswords in the game have and will be useful to units with bonuses to this type of combat. The blade will play perfectly in the hands of classes for close combat:

    • Paladin ;
    • Barbarian;
    • Warrior;
    • Bard of the College of Swords;
    • Priest of the "Domain of War".

    But you don’t have to focus on the class and give it to any character with the ability to carry long swords - even in the hands of a support or mage, the sword will be useful in the right situation for the entire pack.

    Characteristics

    • Song: buff for party members within a radius of 6 m, giving a bonus of 1~4 units. to attack actions and checks for Wisdom, Intelligence and Charisma;
