In Wuthering Waves reroll is considered a working way to get a certain 5-star absolutely free character already at the very beginning of the game. However, let us immediately note that this method will take you a lot of time, so think carefully about whether it is worth the effort. In this guide, we will tell you how to reroll heroes and describe the fastest option.

What is gacha and reroll

To begin with, we note that this role-playing game is based on the so-called “Gacha” system, which consists of the player spinning a roulette wheel in the hope of getting 5-star heroes or weapons. To spin the Wheel of Fortune, you must first purchase convocation items: Lustrous Tide, Radiant Tide and Forging Tide with a special currency.

However, in Kuro Games decided to support beginner players, giving them the opportunity to get a legendary fighter in a relatively short period of time as part of the newcomer banner. But the probability of cool characters appearing in it is just as small as with other banners. This is where reroll comes into play.

The reason is that it allows you to get an almost unlimited number (it all depends on your patience) of attempts to participate in the corresponding lottery by creating new accounts. However, it is not enough to simply register a new profile and enter the game - you will need to perform a number of tedious steps, which we will describe in more detail below.

Disadvantages of rerolling in Wuthering Waves

Chinese developers decided to make this mechanic less profitable in comparison with the same Genshin Impact. You will encounter the following problems when using it:

• Access to the Convene system opens only after completing a certain piece of the plot, which means that you will have to replay the same moments several times.
• It is highly advisable to receive rewards for pre-registration and compensation from the developers - without them you will have to spend even more time on rerolling.
• Pre-registration rewards cannot be used in Event Convocations, but only in standard and initial banners.
• You will have to create several email accounts.
• Get ready to spend about 45-50 minutes of personal time on one reroll.
• The probability of knocking out a legendary fighter is only 0.8%.

How to reroll in Wuthering Waves

Step-by-step instruction

The first step is to prepare about 10-15 new email addresses. You can choose any service, from Google to Rambler. Next, create a new account, watch the opening screensaver and begin the first story mission.

Note: You can, of course, register using your social network profiles, but it is unlikely that you have a sufficient number of “left” pages, so we advise you to stick with regular email.

Together with your new acquaintances, you will need to get to the first game city - Jinzhou. Then visit the magistrate. Next, you will be asked to go to Huaxu Academy, located nearby. Chat with Baizhi there and take part in a test battle in the simulator. Talk to the girl again, after which the Convocation system will open.

You can now spend 20 Tidal Tides (pre-registration reward) and accumulated Astrit on Tidal Chorus or newbie banner. We advise you to choose the latter as it may come in handy in the future. So, do 20+ spins and hope to get the desired result, which is presented in three options:

• Ideal: You will be able to get two 5-star characters at once, which you need.
• Excellent: You can get any two 5-star characters.
• Good: You'll be able to get the one 5-star character you need.

If you receive any of the above results, we advise you to stop there and just continue to upgrade this account. Otherwise, you have two options:

1. Register a new account and start over.
2. Continue through the game until you reach about Unity level 15 (this may take you more than 3 hours). In this case, you can complete 50 spins in the newbie banner, guaranteed to get a 5-star character, which may very well be the sounding board you need. Of course, if you fail, you can try your luck again with a reroll.

Important: Due to the game's rocky launch, the developers decided to give players an additional 20 Shiny Tides and 20 Shining Tides as an apology. This way you can be guaranteed to get one 5-star hero. Plus, an additional banner with a voucher has appeared (valid until May 22, 2025), which also gives you the opportunity to pick up a legendary character. All this makes rerolling much easier, allowing you to achieve the desired result in a minimum number of attempts.

How to speed up reroll

The drop rate for characters with a rarity of 5 stars is 0.8 percent, and characters with a rarity of 4 stars are 6 percent, so it may take you several tries to get them (a lot of this depends on the randomness). However, we can give some tips to speed up the completion of the initial missions, so that you don’t have to wait an hour for access to the newbie banner to open:

• Remember to use sprinting to cover longer distances in less time.
• Ignore the secondary enemies. Not all the enemies you meet need to be fought - even if they notice you, just run away from them so that they stop pursuing your squad.
• Do not be distracted by chests and collecting materials - you can do all this after receiving the necessary characters, since you will then be able to visit unexplored locations at any time.
• If possible, skip dialogues by constantly pressing the icon in the upper left corner (see screenshot below).
• Be sure to enter promotional codes for additional astrites.

Is it possible to get banned for rerolling?

More likely no than yes, since for this the developers will need to ban you by IP, which they are unlikely to do, since it is almost impossible to keep track of all users. They only made things a little more difficult for players by not allowing them to register multiple accounts under one e-mail.

In addition, the creation of new profiles benefits the company itself, as it improves their statistics and helps in creating a positive background to attract investors. However, we still advise you not to get carried away and not try to reroll 20-30 times (if you even have the patience for it).
