Reroll in Zenless Zone Zero: how to get 5-star characters

    Zorthrus

In Zenless Zone Zero Reroll is a working way to get a certain 5-star character at the very beginning of the game. However, let us immediately note that this method will take you a considerable amount of time, so think carefully about whether it is worth the effort. In this guide, we will tell you how to reroll heroes and describe the fastest option.

    What is gacha and reroll

To begin with, we note that this role-playing game is based on the so-called “Gacha” system, which consists of the player spinning a roulette wheel in the hope of getting 5-star agents or amplifiers. To spin the “wheel of fortune”, you should first purchase signal search items: master copies and encrypted copies for a special currency (polychromes).

However, in HoYoverse decided to support beginner players, giving them the opportunity to get a legendary fighter within a relatively short period of time newbie banner. But the probability of cool characters appearing in it is just as small as with other banners. This is where reroll comes into play.

The reason is that it allows you to get an almost unlimited number (it all depends on your patience) of attempts to participate in the corresponding lottery by creating new accounts. However, it is not enough to simply register a new profile and enter the game - you will need to perform a number of tedious steps, which we will describe in more detail below.

Disadvantages of rerolling in Zenless Zone Zero

It should be understood that miHoYo is not happy with the fact that players can independently reduce the randomness in the game and knock out the character they want at the very beginning of the game, so be prepared to face the following problems when using a reroll:

    • Access to the Signal Search system opens only after completing a certain piece of the plot, which means that you will have to replay the same moments several times, which will certainly ruin your first impression of the game.
    • It is highly advisable to receive rewards for pre-registration and gifts from the developers - without them you will have to spend even more time on the reroll. Thus, it can bring the greatest benefit precisely at the time the project is launched.
    • Rewards given for pre-registration cannot be used in event spins, but only in standard and initial banners, which will make it much more difficult to obtain a legendary fighter from the Dedicated Channel, because the probability of its drop is only 0.6%.
    • You will have to create multiple email accounts.
    • Get ready to spend about 25-35 minutes of personal time on one reroll.

How to reroll in Zenless Zone Zero

    Step-by-step instruction

The first step is to prepare about 10-15 new email addresses. We advise you to choose Google, since then you can simply quickly register new accounts on the official website of the game, linking them to Google. Next, watch the opening screensaver and begin the first story mission.

Continue to complete the main quests (we will tell you in more detail about what point you should stop at after the game is released) until you unlock the Signal Search system and enter promotional codes.

Ideally, you will be able to get 30 master copies (or 40 if you reach Internot level 5), 15 banbulets, 1 cipher copy and 300-600 polychromes. Spend master copies on a newbie banner, which will allow you to have a high chance of knocking out a 5-star agent (this requires 40 spins), and spend premium currency on buying cipher copies in the hope of knocking out an event hero.

In general, you can achieve one of three satisfactory results:

    • Ideal: You will be able to get two 5-star characters at once (one standard and one event) that you need.
    • Excellent: You can get any two 5-star characters.
    • Good: You'll be able to get the one 5-star character you need.

If you receive any of the above results, we advise you stop there and just continue to upgrade this account. Otherwise, you have two options:

    1. Register a new account and start over.
    2. Continue through the game until you reach Internot level 5 (this may take you about 50-60 minutes). In this case, you will definitely be able to complete 40 spins in the beginner banner, guaranteed to receive a 5-star agent, which may well be the character you need. Plus, you will have more attempts to knock out the event hero. Of course, if you fail, you can try your luck again with a reroll.

    How to speed up reroll

In standard banners character drop rate with a rarity of 5 stars is equal 0.6 percent, and 4 stars are 4.7 percent, so it may take you several attempts to get them (a lot here depends on the randomness). However, we can give some tips to speed up the completion of the initial missions, so that you do not have to wait an hour for access to the newbie banner:

    • Remember to use sprinting to cover longer distances in less time.
    • Ignore the secondary enemies. Not all the enemies you meet need to be fought - even if they notice you, just run away from them so that they stop pursuing your squad.
    • Do not be distracted by chests and collecting materials - you can do all this after receiving the necessary characters, since you will then be able to visit unexplored locations at any time.
    • If possible, skip dialogues by constantly pressing the icon in the upper right corner (see screenshot below).
    • Be sure to enter promotional codes for additional polychromes.
    • In the event of a failed waste of encryption copies and master copies, do not try to earn polychromes, as this takes a lot of time - immediately create a new account.

Which characters should you knock out when rerolling?

Among the 5-star characters, you should aim to obtain the following heroes:

    Character Reasons for choice

    Ellen (Ice, Attack)

At the moment he is one of the most powerful damage dealers in the game. She can quickly move around the battlefield while in a special stance, and also enhance her own attack and damage. Plus, the heroine is able to freeze enemies. This character is an event character, but we still included her in the list, since now you can get several cipher searches, and it is possible that you will be able to pull out this particular fighter. In general, any other event agent will do.

    Lycaon (Ice, Intimidate)

An excellent secondary damage dealer who can stun opponents with his charged attacks, creating opportunities for the main damage dealer to deal increased damage. Plus, he pairs well with other Ice heroes.

    Rina (Electro, Support)

An excellent support who can strengthen his allies, increasing their chance of penetration and the damage they deal. In addition, she can inflict considerable damage herself with her superpower.

    Kolyada (Fire, Intimidation)

A good primary or secondary damage dealer whose enhanced special attacks can put enemies into a state of stun. She pairs well with Ben, as she can perform an extremely powerful combo attack with him.

    Soldier 11 (Fire, Attack)

A good main DD, capable of activating Fire Suppression, which turns the heroine's regular attacks into powerful slashes that deal fire damage. She can also throw fire with her ult and special attack.

You can read about all the characters in Zenless Zone Zero in our separate guide. It also provides a rating of heroes.

Is it possible to get banned for rerolling?

More likely no than yes, since for this the developers will need to ban you by IP, which they are unlikely to do, since it is almost impossible to keep track of all users. They only made things a little more difficult for players by not allowing them to register multiple accounts under one e-mail.

In addition, the creation of new profiles benefits the company itself, as it improves their statistics and helps in creating a positive background to attract investors. However, we still advise you not to get carried away and not try to reroll 20-30 times (if you even have the patience for it).
