Blessing of the Night Spirit and Phlogiston in Genshin Impact — game mechanics unique to characters from Natlan. They will come in handy both in solving the puzzles of this region and in battles with local mobs. How to Activate Night Spirit's Blessing
As we mentioned, only heroes from the Pyro region can activate this mechanic - mostly through an elemental skill and, in some cases, through passive talents and artifact sets.
What does the Night Spirit Blessing look like?
After activating the mechanic, a special indicator similar to a stamina bar appears next to the character. It displays the amount of Night Spirit points. You can restore points by activating the heroes' passive talents.

Flash of the Night Spirit
If there is a Natlan character in the party, the Flash activates after any of the team members deals elemental damage. Some new artifacts and character talents also have this effect.
Night Spirit's Flash has a certain cooldown, depending on the number of Natlan heroes in the team: if there are 1/2/3 heroes from the Pyro region in the squad, the Flash's cooldown lasts 18/12/9 sec. respectively.
The flash enhances the heroes' combat abilities and provides special abilities. As an example, let's look at the first available characters in the region - Kachina and Mualani. The latter, after activating Flash, receives an increase in the damage of the ult depending on max HP. Kachina receives a bonus to Geo damage.
Transfer of the Night Spirit
The mechanics are related to movement around the world. You can activate it, for example, during sprinting/swimming/flying, by switching from any squad member to the hero from Natlan when the latter's avatar is highlighted.
Transferring the Night Spirit gives characters special means of movement: for example, Mualani gets a surf shark to move on the surface of the water, Kachina gets a Turbo Vortex, which helps in attacks and fast movement on any surface, and Kinich can cling to the air and jump in any direction. The effect for each character is described in a separate talent "Gift of the Realm of the Night".

Phlogiston
Phlogiston is a special energy that is needed to extend the duration of the Blessing and to activate the Night Spirit Transfer. It is displayed as a glowing orange bar above your HP and is consumed when you run out of Night Spirit points.
To obtain phlogiston, the following features of the world of Natlan can be used:
- Everflame Seed
- Phlogiston seeds
- Candlesticks and flame grenades
- Crystal Beetles and Crystal Butterflies by Pyro
- Phlogiston Stone Piles and Phlogiston Powder Kegs
- Teleports and statues of Archons in Natlan
