This guide tells you where to find and how to defeat the Three Polymorphic Stars, how to complete all three achievements, and which squad is best to assemble to win the battle.
How to Unlock the Polychrome Tri-Stars Achievement in Genshin Impact
Where to find the Polychrome Tri-Stars: Sidorenko, Nomonkov and Vasily
- Location: Huitztli Hill
Head to the northwest part of the Pyro region. Three Fatui are located near the teleport point at the top of Huitztli Hill. The easiest way to get there is by using the Geo Saurian's abilities - you can pick him up at the bottom of the hill.
Turn west from the teleport point - behind some small thickets near the edge of the map there will be Polychrome Tri-Stars.
Recommended commands
Since this local legend consists of three opponents at once, it is most convenient to use the main damage dealers who deal area damage. Control heroes such as Kaedehara Kazuha and Sucrose, who are able to pull enemies to one point, will also be useful. If you do not take anemo characters into your squad, make sure that your team has characters who can remove Fatui shields: Hydro or Cryo characters are suitable for the Pyro skirmisher, Pyro and Electro for the opponent's Cryo, and Cryo characters for the Fatui fighter's Electro.
It is also worth considering that the Polychrome Tri-Stars are capable of taking out even those characters with a large health reserve in two hits. It is best to take characters with increased maneuverability into battle, as well as shielders and healers to increase the survivability of the squad.

How to defeat the Polychrome Tri-Stars
Different combat tactics will lead to achievements of different levels:
- 5 Source Stones are given upon the first elimination of the Three Polychrome Stars;
- 10 Source Stones are given if you first defeat Pyro Skirmisher Vasily, and then the rest of the Fatui;
- 20 Primogems are awarded if you defeat the Three Polychrome Stars within 10 seconds of eliminating the first Fatui Skirmisher.
Accordingly, the combat tactics for achieving each level will be different:
- To reach the first level, it is enough to simply defeat the local legend at a comfortable pace and sequence, relying on shielders and healers;
- To reach the second level, it is recommended to take the Pyro Skirmisher aside and focus on him, as well as take the Hydro Applicator into the squad to remove his shield;
- To reach level 3, deal damage evenly across all three polychrome stars. The most effective is to use the main damage dealer, who deals damage over an area.
Regardless of the chosen tactics, there are general tips for fighting the Three Polychrome Stars. Before the fight, you can use potions to increase elemental damage, as well as food that increases attack power, shield strength, and outgoing healing:
Keep all three Fatui skirmishers in sight to avoid a sudden powerful blow. If this is not possible, focus on the combat lines of the enemies; for convenience, you can turn off the music in the settings.
It's best to lure Electro and Cryo Skirmishers towards the Pyro Skirmisher, as the latter is mostly in one place, while the other Fatui often move around the field.
Anemo characters can help quickly remove shields with the help of a blow-up. To remove a Cryo shield, you need to lure Cryo and Electro skirmishers with active shields to one point, and then blow up both of them. If you use Anemo heroes to pull, activate their pulling skills only after the Three Polychrome Stars' shields are destroyed - otherwise, the Fatui will not be pulled.
Keep in mind that Electro and Cryo Skirmishers leave behind a wind field after death, which deals massive damage for a few seconds. The field's duration is enough to disable two playable characters, so it's best to run away immediately after killing said opponents.
If the battle is too tough, you can join players with lower world levels: the opponents' health and damage will be reduced, but the achievements will still be protected. And finally, keep in mind that the Polychrome Tri-Stars are restored With You the server reset, i.e. the next real day.
