Encounters with Dione in Genshin Impact: All Endings

In Genshin Impact Encounters with Dione are a unique kind of Legend Quest where you have to make certain choices and give different answers to unlock different endings. In this guide, we will tell you how to complete the corresponding quests and get all the existing endings for Dione.

How to start and complete meetings with Diona

To start the corresponding activity, you must first obtain 2 Legend Keys by completing 16 daily quests. In the inventory, by the way, you can store no more than 3 keys, so you don’t even have to try to save them in reserve. You must also reach at least Adventure Rank 26 and complete the Archon Quest "Song of the Dragon and Freedom".

We will not describe in detail all the events in the tasks, so as not to spoil your impression of their passage, but only indicate all the main forks in which the answers have a direct impact on the completion of the mission. Thus, you can find out exactly how to open all the endings in the quest.

Note that you do not have to go through the task from the very beginning to unlock all the finals, since in the Meeting: Diona menu you can easily select the desired key moment and try to go the other way.

Note: The character has a relationship scale in the form of white hearts, shown in the upper right corner. Its value does not affect the resulting endings, however, if it drops to zero, then the meeting will end immediately, and you will have to start it from the last fork reached. Relationship with the character may fall due to giving wrong answers or rude behavior.

Chapter 1 "The Cat and Her Special Cocktail"

Ending 1: Cat Party

Fork "Bartender of the tavern "Cat's Tail"":

• "Cat toy"
• "I think that customers come to the tavern primarily for your cocktails."
• "Let's give him Cat Food."
• "Your signature drinks attract a lot of attention on their own."
• "Does he like toys?"
• "Okay, take it yourself."
• “No one would care about these cats if it wasn’t for your signature drinks.”

If you can't find kittens on Mondstadt rooftops, near the blacksmith and near the cathedral, then look at the screenshots below. They indicate the exact location of furry pets.

We also advise you to remember the items that certain kittens like. If you give both cats the wrong items, you will lose hearts, causing the encounter to end immediately, so you'll have to start over from a checkpoint.

Ending 2: Inscrutable Cat

Fork "Bartender of the tavern "Cat's Tail"":

• "I came to look at the cats...".

Fork "To Catch a Kitten":

• "I'm an experienced roof climber."
• "Cat toy"
• "But he's really cute."
• "Let's give him Cat Food."
• "Do you want him to teach you?"

• "Meow meow..."
• “Maybe you could make more money this way…”

The location of the cats is shown in the previous ending. Again, do not mix up items for kittens, so as not to fail the meeting.

Ending 3: Dione's Special Beverage

Fork "Bartender of the tavern "Cat's Tail"":

• "I would like to try a new cocktail."
• "A non-alcoholic cocktail would work too."
• "I want an unusual base."

Fork "A Special Base Drink":

• "Do you want to make a drink out of this?"
• Option A: "I'll slip With You you" - in this case, you will find an additional stage "The Shadow Over Dadaupa", during which you will have to sneak past the Hilichurls), which will significantly increase the duration of the task.
• Option B: "I'll turn on the ears of all the monsters" - in this case, you will move on to the next fork, as soon as you quickly kill all the hilichurls.

Fork "Drunken hunter in the insole":

• “Druff said he had already found him. Let's ask."
• "(What's happening?)".
• "She's with Dione."

Ending 4: I... just drank... a little...

Fork "Bartender of the tavern "Cat's Tail"":

• "I would like to try a new cocktail."

• "I want an unusual base."

Fork "A Special Base Drink":

• "Do you want to make a drink out of this?"

Fork "Samachurl Herbal Soup":

• "This must be the concoction that Diona is looking for."
• "Can he really help get him sober?"

When you receive the task of finding the shamachurl herbal decoction, we advise you to first clear the camp of enemies, since during the battle you will not be able to check the cauldrons. By the way, the broth is in a pot located not far from the giant frying pan. The screenshots below show the exact location.

Ending 5: Exceptional Feature

Fork "Special cocktail additives":

• "I need to wash my hands urgently."

Note that all the Recipe Item (Fresh Fish and slime) can be found right next to Dione, in the nearest body of water. How to prepare a cocktail:

• Place the Lizard Tail directly into the dandelion wine.
• Put all the slime in the drink.
• Put all the butterfly pollen and fish scales into the drink.
• Place a whole Lizard Tail into the drink.
• Place a small amount of slime, let stand, and then stir.
• Place all butterfly pollen.
• First grind the fish scales and then add them With You with the mucus to the drink.

Then you can choose any of the answers to get the last ending.

Dione Encounter Rewards

For opening each next ending you will receive a certain reward. Below is a list of items that you will be given for completing the quest:

• Unlock 1 Encounter Memory: 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 3 Liberty Directions.
• Unlock 2 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 5 Hero XP, and 3 Shivad Jade Fragments.
• Unlock 3 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 5 Definitely Not an Aperitif Meal.
• Unlock 4 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 5 Hero XP, and 3 Shivad Jade Fragments.
• Unlock 5 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 3 Liberty Directions.

In addition, for opening all the branches you will open the achievement "Diona Special, Stirred, Not Shaken", thereby obtaining another 20 source stones. There are also two additional trophies: "But There’s a Catch" (help Dione find a special base for the drink) and "Kitten Queen" (return all cats to the "Cat's tail"), for which they give 5 source stones.
