In Genshin Impact Tatara Tales are Inazuma's world quest, which opens access to a new quest chain, which takes place on the island of Kannazuka. As part of this mission, you will have to find cannons and use them to destroy the Hurdle of Tatarasuna, which will allow you to open a new area and dungeon "Shakken Pavilion". How to start the quest "Tatara Tales"
Of course, you must first get to Inazuma by completing the Archon quest "The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia". After that, get to the Kujo camp, located southwest of Amakane Island. Once there, find the teleport. Talk to Toranosuke near him to start the quest.
Examine Mikage's forge
Then chat with Toranosuke and Miyuki again. After that, talk to Xavier, who will be marked on the map with a marker. Xavier will ask you to examine 3 cracks. All of them will also be shown on your map.
There are thunder sakura branches next to the rifts, from which you can take electro-granums that allow you to bypass the Electro barriers. Then simply interact with the glowing marker on the ground to complete the inspection. You will also have to fight several opponents near the force fields.
However, in one area (shown in the screenshot below), you will need to approach the Electro Fairy and bring her to the Thunder Cherry Branch. Take the Electrogranum and go through the Hurdle. Examine the glowing pointer to complete this task.
Now return to Xavier. He will give you a map showing the location of the Kamuijima cannons, which can be used to destroy the rifts. You will need to find them and use them.
Use Kamuijima's cannons
The map above shows the location of all guns. When you get to the right locations, you will see thunder sakura branches nearby with electro-granums. You will need them to interact with the guns.
First gun
Approach the first gun. To the right of it, you can take Electrograna. Then interact with the artillery and shoot straight into the crevasse. You can move the weapon using the keys or the stick. You can shoot any number of times, so don't be afraid to miss.
Second gun
Everything is the same here: we approach the gun, take the Electrograna and shoot from the cannon to destroy the cleft. The screenshots below show the desired position of Kamuijima.
Third gun
Go to the new weapon. Next to it will be a branch of thunder sakura. After activating it, interact with the cannon and shoot into the crevasse. Note that this will also unlock the entrance to Shakken Pavilion Dungeon.
Once all the cracks are destroyed, you will be shown a small cut-scene. Return to Xavier again and talk to him. Next, deal with the Fatui agents and talk to the scientist again. He will give you a new task.
Get closer to Mikage's forge
Follow the quest marker. Soon you will enter an area with a high concentration of Electro, so your characters will gradually lose health. To avoid this, regularly pick up Electro Granums along the way.
When you get to the right place, use the camera (activated through the Paimon menu) to take a photo of the forge. Go back to Xavier and talk to him to complete the quest. As a reward, you will receive 400 adventure points, 4 hero experience, 40,000 Mora, 50 source stones and 4 magical enhancement ores. The next mission will also start.
