In Genshin Impact The Solitary Sea-Beast is Inazuma's world quest, in which you will need to solve a couple of statue and slab puzzles on Watatsumi Island in order to gain access to the treasure. If you are having difficulty completing these tasks, then study our walkthrough.

Passage of the quest "Solitary Sea-Beast"

How to start a task

To do this, you first need to get to the archipelago by completing the story quest "The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia". Then head to the western island of Watatsumi and look for a girl named Kumi there. She stands on the coast, not far from the sanctuary of Moun. Chat with her.

Head to the Hilichurl Camp

Then you will need to give the young lady 3 cherry blossoms, which can be collected on Narukami Island. In a separate guide, we told you where you can find this local curiosity. After completing this task, go to the western Hilichurl camp, which will be marked on the map.

There you will need to save the explorer Anisa by dealing with a group of mobs. At the end, a mitachurl will attack you, so be careful. Having dealt with all the enemies, talk to the rescued girl. Agree to help her.

Solve the watatsumi statue puzzle

You will need to solve a riddle with elemental monuments located near the hilichurl shack. Be sure to team up with Hydro and Electro heroes to activate the right pillars, such as Traveler (Electro) and Barbara.

The Hydro monument is on the beach right next to the water, and the two Electro monuments are on the wooden stairs and under the hut. The last pillar is behind the barrier, however your electric attack should pass through it without any problems. You can also find a branch of thunder sakura nearby, take an Electrograna and go through the force field. After that, bow to the statue on the coast (or do it while moving on the slabs).

Solving the slab puzzle

Then stand on the plate that appears in the sand. You will need to walk across all the stone platforms to light them up. Follow the route shown in the screenshot below. On the way, you will need to bow to the statue twice (the right places are shown in green circles).

After solving the puzzle, open the rich chest and talk to Anisa again. Then return to Kumi and listen to what she tells you. This completes the quest and rewards you with 300 Adventure Points, 4 Hero XP, 40 Source Stones, and 30,000 Pestilence. You will also unlock the "A Mermaid’s Tale" achievement.
