In Genshin Impact Neko the cat is Inazuma quest chain, in which you will have to help a black talking cat in the restoration of the sanctuary. You will need to repair buildings, look for kittens and perform other similar tasks. If you have any difficulties with their implementation, then study our walkthrough.
Note that this series includes 9 tasks, and the following missions open only after one calendar day. After completing them, you will have access to the quest "The Narukami Trail".
How to start the quest "Cat Neko"
First, you will need to go through another quest chain called "Seirai Stormchasers". It is within the framework of it that you will meet an unusual cat. After completing it, return to Neko at the Asase Shrine located on Seirai Island and speak with her. The images below show its location.

Clean the room of dirty spots
Chat with your furry friend for the latest temple news. The cat will tell you about new problems. Agree to help her and take Anemo, Hydro or Pyro heroes to your team. The fact is that only with the help of them it will be possible to remove heaps of dirt.
Use elemental attacks and remove all the fallen leaves shown in the screenshot above (they are marked with white arrows) located around the sanctuary on the wooden terrace. Then talk to Neko again. She will thank you and ask you to come back the next day. As a reward, you will receive 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 10,000 Pestilence.

Repair the prayer board stand
After a day, go back to the cat and chat with her. She will ask you to fix the counter. Head towards it and just interact with the structure. No materials need to be collected.
After that, talk to Neko again. Then go to Taisuke and talk to him. Next, go to the counter and chat with Eiko. At the end, you will need to tell Neko everything. She will thank you again, after which the task will be completed. As a reward, you will receive 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 10,000 Pestilence.

Find kittens Kombu Maru and Happo
After a day, return to the temporary abbess and talk to her. You will learn that Neko has lost her kittens, so she will ask you to find them. You will be given 3 minutes to locate each baby.
First of all, go to the shore to find Happo (Hachiho). Watch for the numbers at the top, which indicate the distance to the target. The screenshot above shows the location of the kitten. Interact with him.
Now go in search Kombu Maru. Run towards the large tree in the center of the island. Climb onto it from the side, go to the branch to jump over the rope, and climb to the very top. There you will find a kitten.
Next, take the kids to Neko and watch the cut-scene. Upon completion, you will be rewarded with 200 Adventure Points, 30 Source Stones, 2 Hero XP, and 15,000 Pestilence.

Collect seaweed
The next day, talk to the cat again, which will sit in the same place. She will ask you to find a recipe for a certain dish. After talking to her, talk to Eiko and Taisuke standing nearby. They will recommend that you go to Inazuma City and ask Anna about it.
Teleport to the capital and chat with the owner of the restaurant. She will immediately figure out what can be prepared for the kittens from the proposed ingredients, but she will ask you for 3 units of seaweed. The screenshot below shows all the places where you can find this plant near the city, so you do not have to go far.
Prepare an Invigorating Kitty Meal
Pass the seaweed to the girl and wait for the dish to cook. After that, she will give you one serving and teach you the appropriate recipe. We advise you to immediately prepare 3 servings, as the whole cat family will need to be fed. To prepare one dish you will need the following Recipe Item:
- Fish x4 - can be caught with fishing or purchase at Liyue Harbor at the Chef de Cuisine Restaurant.
- Meat x2 - can be obtained from boars and other animals or purchased from Druff in Springvale.
- Seaweed x2
- Rice x1 - can be purchased at the Second Life store in Liyue Harbor (see screenshots below).
After preparing the required number of servings, return to Neko and give her food. Then treat the kittens, which will be shown on the map. To do this, place one serving of Energizing Cat Treat in bowls. Return to the cat again to complete the quest. As a reward, you will receive 150 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 30,000 Pestilence.
How to get the "A Cat’s Gift" achievement
After completing this quest, teleport to the northeastern part of Seirai to the fast travel point west of Fort Hiraumi. Then run northeast until you see an empty bowl with a cat sitting next to it. Put the cat treat in the bowl.
Come here every day for 5 days and put food in the bowl. After that, you will receive the "A Cat’s Gift" trophy and a chest.

Find a craftsman in Tatarsun
After a day, return to the furry friend in the temple and talk to her. Agree to help the Mother Superior. Then talk to Eiko and Taisuke again. They will advise you to find a stonecutter in Tatarasun.
Teleport to the area indicated on the map and look for a character named Ooshima Junpei there. Talk to him. He will be happy to get a new job. With You with him, return to the cat and talk to her. This will complete the quest, and you will receive 150 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 15,000 Pestilence.

Gather iron ore
As usual, return to Neko in a day and chat with her. We learn about the next problems and go to ask Ooshima Junpei. His tools are broken, so he will ask you for 3 units of iron ore. If you don't have it, then take a look at interactive map of the world A that specifies the location of all resources.
The image above shows the location of several deposits near the village of Koseki. After collecting the required amount of ore, give it to the master. Then return to Neko and tell her about everything. This will complete the task. You will be rewarded with 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 10,000 Pestilence.

Gather Raw Meat
After a day, return to the temporary shrine abbess and chat with her. She will ask you to take the fish to the master as payment. Give it to Junpei. However, he will say that he is already tired of fish and wants to eat meat.
Now give him 3 units of raw meat. Recall that it can be obtained from boars or bought from Druff in Springvale. When you give him food, the task will end. As a reward, you will receive 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 10,000 Pestilence.

Hang the bells in the sanctuary
Return to the black cat the next day and chat with her. She will ask you to hang bells in the temple. Agree and go to the places marked on the map. The screenshots below show the required locations.
After hanging the decorations, return to Neko and tell about your success. This will complete the quest, and you will receive 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 10,000 Pestilence.
Neko Is a Cat: A “Good Turn” Comes Late
On the 9th day, we again return to our old friend and talk to her. Then head over to Ooshima Junpei to see his work. There will be a small cut-scene with a demonstration of a huge stone cat statue.
After completing the cutscene, the quest will come to an end. You will receive 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, 2 Hero XP and 20,000 Pestilence, and unlock the Cat in the Clouds achievement. We advise you to then talk to Eiko, Taisuke and other characters near the statue to learn a lot of interesting things about Seirai.
