In Genshin Impact Is it really… an outstanding novel? is daily errand Inazuma, in which you will need to help Shigeru and Junkichi find a new creative path. Thanks to this task, you can open the achievement "Editorial Opinion" and get access to the world quest "Storytelling Method". In this guide, you will learn how to start this mission and what you need to do to unlock the trophy.

How to start the quest “Is this really… an outstanding novel?”

Since we are talking about a daily, you will not be able to take on its passage by simply talking with a certain character or reaching a specific place. The fact is that they drop out randomly after the hero reaches the 12th adventure rank.

However, you can slightly increase the chance of getting the necessary quest. To do this, open your Adventurer's Handbook by clicking on the book icon in the upper right corner of the screen, and go to the "Assignments" tab. There, find the option to select the desired region and enter Inazuma in it. Now you just have to wait for the corresponding order to appear.

How to unlock the "Editorial Opinion" achievement

To do this, you will need to complete this task twice, and with certain differences:

    1. On your first playthrough, support Shigeru to unlock the quest "Does this novel... look familiar?".
    2. On your second playthrough, support Junkichi to unlock the "Dubious...Romance?" quest.

Next, we will consider in detail the implementation of all these tasks, so that you know what to do at certain moments to open the achievement.

Support Shigeru (This novel... looks familiar?)

After receiving the quest "Is this really... an outstanding novel?" Head to Inazuma City (Narukami Island) and look for Shigeru and Junkichi. They are on the landing next to the central teleportation point and will be marked with a marker. Talk to any of them.

Then you will need to choose between the options "Let's go get stuff" and "Let's go look for inspiration." Your choice here will not affect the trophy - it only determines which of the three places you visit:

    • Forge of Amenoma
    • Place of work Dosinov
    • Tsukumomono Shop

After visiting one of the indicated locations, talk to Junkichi, and then return to Shigeru. Next, you will again need to choose what to say. Be sure to say "Actually, Shigeru says reasonable things..." .

As a result, you will have access to the order “Does this novel… look familiar?”. Wait for it to fall out (this can happen either the next day or a few weeks later). Talk to the editor and writer again. Agree on everything with Shigure. Next, you will need to find three novels that meet the requirements.

You will only need to take a book from the shelf Literature Club and hand it over to the restless couple. No more books need to be sent. Then choose the following answer: “Apparently, I can’t convince him...”. After that, the quest will come to an end. You will not receive achievements yet, but you will open access to the world task "Storytelling Method".

    Support Junkichi (Dubious… Romance?)

Wait until the second time you get the task "Is it really... an outstanding novel?". During the first conversation, you can again choose any phrase to visit one of the three places indicated above. After talking with the writer, return to the editor.

During the second conversation, you will need to say "Actually, Junkichi's idea isn't that bad." to access the order "Dubious... romance?". Then you will need to wait for it to be received.

Visit the writer and editor again to chat with them. Then you have to collect feedback from readers about the last chapters of the novel. To do this, simply talk to Yuzu, Hesegawa and Rie. All of them will be marked on the map with markers. Then return to Shigeru and talk to him. After that, the quest will come to an end.

If you have completed two branches, then after completing this assignment, you will immediately receive the "Editorial Opinion" trophy. Note that you do not have to complete these tasks in the same order as we do. The main thing is to support both characters in order to complete all three assignments. The reward for dailies is standard: 10 source stones, Mora, experience, friendship and adventure points, as well as enhancement ore (their number depends on the player's rank).
