Passage of the quest "Bell ringing"
How to start a task
- Requirements: Complete the "In the Shade of the Mine" story mission.
- Recommended level: none.
First of all, move to the point of the flying flame "Dark Arts Defense Tower" located in the Astronomy Wing and then go down the stairs on the right side. Down near the railing, talk to a student named Evangeline Bardsley. Its exact location can be seen in the pictures below.
Where to find bells
The girl will ask you to return the two missing bells in the tower. Start following the quest marker to get to the music study room. Once you get inside and stand in the marked area, the objective of the mission will change.
Go to the right passage and start climbing up the stairs. On one of the flights of stairs you will find the first bell. Switch to a spell Wingardium Leviosa (can be learned after completing Professor Chesnoke's Challenge 1) and use it to raise the bell.
Now start dragging it up to the other bells and place it in the middle row so that it takes the empty space (just move the bell to the desired cell and it will attach itself to it).
Continue climbing up the wooden stairs. On the penultimate flight of stairs in the corner you will find the second bell. Lift it into the air with the Wingardium Liviosa and begin to slowly lower it down to the bell instrument. This will not be easy to do, since the object you need will constantly get stuck in the railing.
Place the bell in the topmost row. If you did everything right, then the bells will immediately begin to move and ring. By the way, we advise you to then climb to the very top of the tower and go through the door. The fact is that at the top you can find the legendary chest.
Next, return to Evangeline, who will still be waiting for you at the Dark Arts Defense Tower. This task will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive the Explosive Horn collectible and 180 experience points.
