In Genshin Impact, the mission "Investigate the Fatui camps marked by Sosi" is one part of a whole quest chain "Monumental Research", during which you will have to visit several bases of soldiers from Snezhnaya and deal with their commander in order to prevent the Fatuists from reaching the power of the monument. How to start a task
In order for you to have access to the task, you must complete the following missions from the quest chain "Hvarna of Good and Evil" :
After the start of the next stage "When the light of Hvarna appears" you will be able to start a dialogue with the skeptic Soshi. She is the one who will give you the order. You can find the girl in the south direction from the statue of the Archons in Gavireh Lajavard.
Camp research
During the dialogue with Soshi, you will automatically be transferred to the monument, and the first place for research will just be located nearby in the southeast direction.
Three skirmishers will be waiting for you there, with whom you need to deal with. After the battle, you need to explore "Someone’s Diary". It will be located on the crates to the left of the tent.
The next camp is located further southeast. There you will again have to fight with enemies. This time there will be two skirmishers and an electro magician. We recommend that you first deal with the hydro bombardier, as he is able to restore HP to his allies.
When you defeat all opponents, go to the left side of the tent, where there will be "Someone's A Note".
From its contents, you will learn that the commander will appear at noon. After that, through the Paimon menu, move the clock to the interval 10:00-14:00 and go to the main camp. Its location is shown on the map below.
There you will realize that the commander is missing, and you yourself need to find him on the tracks left. Pointers will hang above the tips, you don’t need to interact with them in any way, just move east from one mark to another.
Soon, three skirmishers will appear on your way in the opening under the rock, they will also need to be dealt with.
Further, the tracks will lead you to an empty hilichurl hut, after it go down to the cliff, and continue searching along it.
After a short search, you will finally see the commander. When you approach him, a short dialogue will automatically start, which then escalates into a battle with three Fatuists. With the victory over them, the quest will end, and you will be able to proceed with the next task of the line "Find the lost fragments of the monument."
Awards
Completing the quest to find Fatui's camps will earn you 40 Primogems, 300 Adventure Points, 20,000 Pestilence, 3 Hero XP, and 3 Magic Enhancement Ore.
