In Honkai: Star Rail, the Omniscient Inquiry of Arcana is a exploration mission and part of the "Heavenly Journey on a Star Raft", during which you have to solve several puzzles with different terminals and jade circuits to interrogate Kafka. Passage of the quest "Omniscient Inquiry of Arcana"
How to start a task
It starts in automatic mode immediately after the completion of the previous quest line called "New friends - new joys" so no further action is required. The main thing is that your level of development should be at least 34th.
Solving the puzzle with the first Jade Schematic
Next, you will need to visit the Prediction Commission. To do this, move upstairs, fight with two groups of enemies (or go around them) and go to the entrance, which will be closed. Qing Que will say that you can go through the side passage.
Follow the next sign, passing through the archway to the right of the gate (if you stand with your back to them). The door here will also be locked due to the broken controller. Approach it and click on the "repair" button to start the jade circuit puzzle.
First, select the left hexagon, and then rotate the five to the right twice. Now select the right hexagon and rotate the five to the right five times. The gif below shows the whole process.
As a result, you will open the gate. Move forward and fight a group of level 44 enemies. Among them will be new opponents - Internal alchemists. Their vulnerabilities can be found in the screenshot below. If they use a skill on you, then after death they will cause damage to your characters.
Climb the stairs up and to the right. Fighting enemies patrolling here is optional. As you approach the next quest marker, watch the new cutscene. Then go downstairs and chat with Fu Xuan. She will ask you to restart the Foresight Matrix.
How to restart the base terminals of the Matrix of Providence
The map below shows the approximate location of all jade circuits and base terminals that you will need to interact with in order to restart the device. Next, we will take a closer look at the solution of all puzzles.
Restart temporary terminal
So, go through the teleport indicated by the marker to be transferred to the area with the temporary terminal. Then stand on the diamond platform and press the button to launch the base terminal.
To solve the presented puzzle, you will need to make the same matrix pattern on the bottom platform as on the template shown above (triangle). To do this, you need to perform a number of simple steps.
First pick up the crystal in the center and place it in the right center part of the hexagon as shown in the pictures below.
Then pick up the crystal from the lower right side of the hexagon and place it in the lower left area of the shape as shown in the images below. Watch a short video below.
Solving the puzzle with the second Jade Circuit
Return to the main square using the teleporter, and then run to the right and down to the idle screen of movement. Interact with her and start solving the jade diagram puzzle:
- Click on the far right hexagon and move the two modules by clicking on the right arrow once.
- Click on the leftmost hexagon and move one left module by clicking on the right arrow twice so that the sign on it turns red.
- Now click on the middle hexagon and click on the left arrow three times to move the red module straight to the rightmost hexagon.
- Click on the far right hexagon again and click on the left arrow once.
- Click on the leftmost hexagon again and click on the right arrow twice.
The whole process of solving the puzzle is shown in the gif above. After repairing the teleporter, use it to be transported to the site with the Spatial Terminal.
Restart Spatial Terminal
Move forward a bit and fight the elite enemy Aurumaton Gatekeeper Level 44, which is vulnerable to Wind, Shock, and Quantum damage. Serval and Dan Heng's Tribute will be enough to break through his stamina.
After dealing with the enemy, go upstairs and stand on the diamond-shaped platform to restart the terminal. The upper light platform will show a figure that you have to repeat on the ground.
So take the crystal on the lower right side of the hexagon and place it on the same side but slightly higher as shown in the screenshots.
Now take the crystal in the upper left side of the hexagon and place it in the lower left area of the shape as shown in the pictures. Thus, you will solve the riddle. Return to the main platform.
Solving the puzzle with the third Jade Circuit
Run right again, go down the stairs and interact with the broken teleporter to start solving the puzzle:
- Click on the left hexagon and click on the left arrow three times.
- Click on the right hexagon and click on the left arrow once.
The whole process of solving the puzzle is shown in the GIF above. After repairing the teleport, use it to be transferred to the platform with the Karmic terminal.
Restart karmic terminal
Climb up and stand on the diamond platform to restart the terminal. The upper light platform will show a figure that you have to repeat on the ground.
Take the crystal from the second lowest point of the octagon on the right and place it on the lowest point of the figure on the left (see pictures below).

After restarting all base terminals, return to the main site and report back to Fu Xuan on your success. Say you're ready and then watch the video. At the end, you will unlock the "Prophets Don't Prophecy" trophy and the quest will come to an end.
As a reward, you will receive 25 thousand credits, 600 development experience, 4 travel guides and 2 new songs. You will also have access to the next quest in the chain, Return of Branches, Intricate Fates.
