In Honkai: Star Rail The crucible of doom and the Tree of ferocity is development mission Lofu Xianzhou and part of the chain "Hyperion Tower", within which you will need to get into the Alchemy Commission, using the recommendation of the general. How to start a task
Before you can take on this quest, you have to meet a couple of conditions, which include:
- Reach at least 34 Mastering level.
- Complete the previous story mission called "Branching Horns and Tangled Roots".
When you deal with the requirements noted above, the desired mission should automatically appear in your journal. If this does not happen, then try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and re-login.
After that, move to the teleporter "Entrance to the forge of jewelry" and move to the southwest to find a short route leading straight to the Alchemy Commission. You will just need to interact with the door.
Check if there are survivors
Walk forward, go down the ladder and approach the girl with the soldier. The healer will be from the cult. Next, a soldier struck by Mara will attack you. Its vulnerabilities are shown in the picture below.
After that, you will be attacked by a group of Golden Hound and two Timber Wolves. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the image below. The Hound can advance the actions of its allies, and the Wolf can summon the Shadowwolf and inflict the Shock status. If you are not ready for this battle, you can retreat (key "Esc"), and then attack again.
In the third wave, you will be attacked by Ballistarius, as well as a gochka and a wolf. We recommend that you deal with the hound last, so that it cannot advance the actions of its allies. The wolf should be attacked first so that the shadow wolf created by him has less health.
Join the Cloud Knights
Having dealt with all the enemies, run forward. It is not necessary to fight with the encountered opponents. When you reach the end of the square, turn left and go down the stairs. In front of the steps, by the way, you can help the wounded knight by giving him medicine. As a reward you will receive Praise of high morality x1.
After descending, you will encounter a group of Ballistarii. After dealing with them, run forward, turn right and go upstairs to the cloud knights. Then watch a short video and chat with your friends.
Getting information about the outcome of the battle
You will need to talk to two characters. The sentry stands near the spiral tree in the center of the camp. The arrested student is under guard on the ledge on the right side of the location.
After talking to both, you will start a new cut-scene, during which you will meet the high priestess. Next, start following Fu Xuan and approach the fence. Watch the long video.
Turn off the three lesser elixir furnaces
After talking with the priestess, turn left, run forward, and then turn right and go down the stairs. Pass through the open passage and go down on the lift. Then activate the anchor on the left.
Go ahead and deactivate the first crucible of elixirs. Move on and deal with a group of internal alchemists along the way (vulnerabilities are shown below). Then go to the second crucible and deal with Ballistarius. Now you can disable the device.
Move forward and deal with two more groups of opponents. Then cut down the third crucible.
Travel to the Golden Elixir Hearth
Head up the stairs to the next quest marker. There you will find the transformed Dan Shu. After a short conversation, you will fight with two waves of enemies, and in the second you will need to fight with an elite enemy Master, so prepare well for the battle.
The boss is vulnerable to physical, ice and electrical damage, so you should take the damage dealers of these elements. This enemy is capable of dealing high wind damage and inflicting Weathering. For this reason, be sure to team up with a healer and/or shielder, as well as characters that can remove debuffs.
We advise you to quickly deal with ordinary mobs in order to reduce the damage received. The master, fortunately, is not able to call his assistants. But he can drain life, reducing the maximum HP of the heroes. The negative status lasts two turns. After dealing with the mini-boss, watch the new cutscene.
How to Defeat the Antimatter Legion
Next, you will have a battle with the troops of the Devastator Lord Phantalia. You need to survive three waves of opponents, the vulnerabilities of which are shown in the screenshots below.
In the third group, you will have to fight the Suppressor, which is vulnerable to physical, wind and imaginary damage. Try not to let him shoot his Spiral Arrow, as it can deal significant damage and immobilize your character.
Once you've dealt with all the enemies, you'll get the "Short Sleep" achievement. Then watch the new video.
Travel to Scaled Gorge
After talking with your friends, run after the priestess to the star skiff. Talk to Fu Xuan again and say that you are ready to move on. Then you will see a cutscene of Lochi, Sushan and Dan Heng joining the Alchemy Commission. After that, an additional story quest "The Chased Dragon and the Lost Memories" will begin.
