In Honkai: Star Rail Todd Riordan's Academic Research: Glimpsing the Verdant Apothecary's Pouch is adventure mission in Lofu Xianzhou, during which you have to find the Atlas of Medicines and ask the healers about herbs. How to start a task
Before you can take on this mission, you have to meet a couple of conditions, namely:
Reach at least 34 Mastering level. Complete the story quest chain called "Hyperion Tower".
Once you've dealt with these requirements, travel to the Dimensional Anchor "Earth Square" located in the Central Harbor of the Star-Sail Skiff Retreat and go north by going down the stairs. On the bench you will find a member of the Guild of Erudite Todd, with whom you will need to talk and ask what he is doing here.
How to find the Atlas of Medicines in the Alchemy Commission
Travel to the Healing Office anchor in the indicated area and speak with the weary healer. She will tell you that you can only get information about the book from the chief alchemist Yuilo.
Teleport to the Apothecary Market anchor and find the girl you need next to the huge tree. She will inform you that due to the confusion that has arisen in the commission, she does not know the exact location of the book, but the alchemist will indicate possible places where it can be found.
Two areas will appear on your map in which you can find two parts of the atlas. Exit the area near the teleporter and run south. Once at the fork, turn into the right lane and talk to the unlucky healer standing to the left of the stairs.
He will say that the item we need is hanging on a tree. Go down and examine the tree. Then choose an answer "Jump up and reach the branches"
, to get a book.
Now head southeast and up the stairs to the top. Approach the open box and inspect it. It will be empty. Turn around and go to the vase in the corner. Destroy it to find another volume of the atlas.
Pass the atlas and ask the healers about herbs
Return to the quest giver, who is sitting on the same bench, and give him both volumes of the atlas. He will study them, and then ask you to find a sacred golden branch. When talking to him, you can warn him that Dan Shu's recipes are fraught with great danger, but this will not affect the ending in any way.
Head back to the Apothecary Market and move to the northeast part of the marked area. Find the Erudite Alchemist here and talk to him. Whatever answers you choose, you will still have to fight him.
The vulnerabilities of opponents are shown in the screenshot below. After dealing with the enemies, you will receive a Spooky branch. Go back to Todd and give him the material. This task will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 150 exploration experience, 40 star jade, 40 thousand credits, 4 lost crystals, 25 arrows and 4 travel guides. The next day you will be able to proceed with the continuation of this quest.
