In Honkai: Star Rail Todd Riordan's Academic Research: The Three Draconic Transformations is adventure mission Lofu Xianzhou, during which you will need to take some photos for the researcher, as well as connect hidden marks and collect prints in various areas. Passage of the quest "Todd Riordan's Academic Research: The Three Draconic Transformations"
How to start a task
First of all, you will need to complete the previous mission of the chain called "The Todd Riordan Study: A Glimpse of Medicine Teachings". Then wait for the next calendar day (the server should reset) and move to the Earthen Square anchor in the Central Harbor of the Starboat Retreat.
Go north, down the stairs, and chat again with the member of the Erudite Guild, who will be sitting on the bench. Ask him why he keeps looking back. Then agree to help him.
How to Take a Photo of the Supreme Elder Statue
Teleport to the Dragonstorm Monument anchor in Scaled Gorge and head west to the statue. Soon, the camera icon should light up in the lower right corner of the monitor. Press the "R" key, capture the statue in the lens (there should be the inscription "Target found" at the top), and then take a photo. It is not necessary to save it.
Take a picture of a vidyadhara egg
In the same location, move to the Ancient Sea Palace Ruins anchor, and then turn right, go down, turn left and approach a group of huge purple buds. You can take a picture of any of them - the main thing is that the inscription "Target found" is present.
Take a picture of the historical Vidyadhara mural
Move to Depths of the Palace Ruins, and then turn around and run down to the right. You need to go to the ruins with frescoes, where you previously solved the riddle with burning lanterns as part of the story mission. Note that you can take a photo of any pattern on the walls.
Take a picture of a beam of light in the shape of a dragon
Teleport to the previous anchor and run forward towards the dragon. As soon as the camera icon appears, press "R" and point the lens at the head of the horned beast. Then take a photo. Now return to Todd and hand over all the pictures taken.
The researcher will find on one of the photographs a mark left by his mentor Bernini. Then the scientist will install a special application on our smartphone, with the help of which we can find other signs, which are called prints.
How to Connect Hidden Marks and Collect Prints in the Alchemy Commission
Teleport to the anchor "Office of Medicine" and stand in the indicated place. Then read the instructions for solving the Xianzhou Printing Puzzles. You will need to use your smartphone's camera to choose the right angle and combine the unfinished marks with each other to get the finished drawing.
Print 1
Stand in the same place as shown in the screenshot below. Then press the "R" key and turn the camera slightly to the left and up. Connect the two image elements and wait until the camera icon appears at the bottom. Press "R" again to take a photo.
Print 2
Move to the Apothecary Market and stand in the place marked by the quest marker. Then turn on the recognition device to see two parts of the drawing.
Stand behind the tree so that you can see both parts of the picture, as shown in the screenshot below. Next, turn the camera a little to the right and connect the print. Press the "R" key when the camera icon appears.
Print 3
Teleport to the Elixir Research Veranda and head south a bit. Stand at the point indicated by the marker. Then turn on the recognition device to see the three parts of the pattern on the pillars and the wall.
Stand to the right of the crates as shown in the screenshot below. Then turn the camera slightly to the right and up. Press the "R" key when the camera icon appears. Return to Todd and give him the pictures.
How to collect prints in Scaled Gorge
In the specified location, you will need to find five prints and connect them. Fortunately, their location will be indicated on the map.
Print 1
Teleport to the Ancient Sea Palace Ruins and head east up the stairs. Stand at the point indicated by the marker. Then turn on the recognition device to see the three parts of the pattern on the destroyed columns.
Stand directly in front of the column on the platform and raise the camera slightly up. Press the "R" key when the camera icon appears.
Print 2
Return to the previous teleport and turn left. Climb down, deal with two groups of enemies so that they do not interfere with you, and then stand at the point indicated by the marker. Turn on the recognition device to find two parts of the drawing on the destroyed structures.
Then go down the stairs to the west and stand directly under the second part of the drawing. Rotate the camera slightly up and to the right. Press the "R" key when the camera icon appears.
Print 3
From the previous drawing, continue to run west, and at the fork, turn left and go down the stairs. Deal with the enemy located here, and then stand at the point indicated by the marker. Turn on the recognition device to see three parts of the drawing on the destroyed columns.
Stand behind the third drawing on the fallen post as shown in the screenshot below. Then turn the camera slightly to the left and up. Press the "R" key when the camera icon appears.
Print 4
From the previous drawing, continue running west, descending into the ruins at the root of the tree where you previously took the picture of the fresco. Stand at the point indicated by the marker. Turn on the recognition device to reveal two parts of the drawing on the wall and one of the lanterns.
Stand behind the front flashlight on the right side, as shown in the screenshot below (you need to get close to it). Turn the camera slightly to the left and press the "R" key when the camera icon appears.
Print 5
Move to the Depths of the Palace Ruins, go forward, going down the slope, and turn right at the fork. Stand at the point indicated by the marker. Turn on the recognition device to reveal two pattern elements on the arch and the fallen column.
Approach the fallen pillar as shown in the screenshot below and turn the camera slightly to the right and up. Press the "R" key when the camera icon appears. After collecting all the prints, return to Todd and give him the materials.
Take Todd to the statue and vidyadhara eggs
Head with the old man to the Scaled Gorge, and then approach the statue of the Supreme Elder. Talk to the scientist. Then take him to the previously photographed eggs and talk to him again.
Return to the statue again to find Todd's lost notebook. It will lie next to a bush and stones. The diary will be empty. Return to the researcher who stayed next to the eggs and give him the lost item.
This task will come to an end. As a reward, you can get: 40 star jade, 200 development experience, 25 arrows, 60 thousand credits, 5 lost crystals, a musical composition and 6 travel guides. Plus, the next day you will unlock access to a new chain quest.
