How to start a task
First of all, you need to complete the previous mission of the chain called "Todd Riordan's Study: Three Faces of the Dragon". Then wait for the next calendar day (the server should reset) and move to the Earthen Square anchor in the Central Harbor of the Starboat Retreat.
Go north, down the stairs, and chat with the young guy. You will realize that your friend Todd is standing in front of you. He managed to unravel the secrets of the vidyadharas, reproduce the desired recipe and become young again.
Promise Todd or reject his offer
The researcher will consider us a talented young man, so he wants us to become his student and join the Erudite Guild, but he will ask us to keep his secret secret until we leave Lofa. He will give us time to think. Enter into a dialogue with the scientist again and say one of two phrases to choose from:
- Reject Todd's offer - refuse to join the Guild and be able to report to the Balance Commission about the crime committed by the researcher.
- Promise to keep it a secret - we will refuse to join the Guild, but we will not betray the scientist, allowing him to safely fly away from Lofu Xianzhou.
Depending on the choice you make, some further events will change, but your reward will remain the same, and the ending will not change very much. Let's look at both options next.
Option 1: Reject Todd's offer
In this case, you will need to head to the Balance Commission located in the Exalted Sanctuary. Enter the office and chat with Dahao. Report to him about the crime committed by Todd.
Next, head to the Petrikor Inn located in the previous area and chat with the Judge of the Ten Lords Commission named Shuei. You will learn that Todd managed to sneak away, but he has not left the ship yet. You need to wait until the next real day.
After resetting the server, Todd will write to you again. He'll want to see us again, but this time in Scaled Gorge. Move to the Dragon Shower Monument and then run to the right. There you will see a boy - talk to him. You will learn that Todd is getting younger by the hour and will soon turn into an egg or an embryo.
After the conversation, you will automatically move to the coast, where Todd will share his memories of life with you. Then the quest will come to an end. You will receive 4 travel guides and 30,000 credits.
Option 2: promised to keep Todd's secret
After talking with a rejuvenated researcher, he will promise to get in touch with you again. This will happen the next calendar day after the server reset. Wait for the message to arrive, and then, as usual, go to the shop in the Central Harbor. However, a child will be waiting for you here.
After learning that Todd's experiment did not go according to plan, agree to take a walk with him around the Lof until he turns into an embryo or an egg. Run after the boy up the stairs, and then turn right and go past the teleporter. Turn left and go down the stairs. Go to a snack shop and buy a pheasant berry skewers for your child.
Now travel to the Exalted Shrine and approach Todd talking to Bile. After a short conversation, you will automatically be taken to the Scaled Gorge. Chat again with Todd, who will be sitting near the coast.
This will complete the quest. As a reward, you will still receive 30,000 credits and 4 travel guides.
