In Genshin Impact The Final Question is confidential. Fontaine's world assignment, which partially completes the story of Seymour, allowing you to find out exactly where he went and who his mistress was. If you're having trouble getting and completing this quest, check out our guide.

How to start a task

Before you can take on this mission, you will need to meet several conditions, namely:

Complete the questline "Ancient Colors".
Complete a world quest called "Aqueous Tidemarks".
Complete the entire quest chain "Anne of the Narcissencreutz" (not necessary).
Finish the world quest "Unfinished Story" (not necessary).

At the end of the mission "Paintings. Dreams. Mechanical Dog" Seymour will mention the Ordo Narcissencreutz, so this is the location you will need to find. So, return to the Institute of Natural Philosophy (located a little south of the Fontaine capital), moving to the northern teleport. Then run forward to the opposite side of the room. Climb the ladder, approach the table and select the option "Read" .

This book is a secret teleport that leads straight to the Ordo Narcissencreutz. Once you get there, you will unlock the achievement "Encyclopedia of Natural Philosophy", and a new quest will appear in the journal.

Talk to Seymour

If you have already completed the "Anne of Narcissencreutz" line, then after entering the secret area, you will begin the "Unfinished Story" mission, where you will first need to talk with the Oceanid. Otherwise, immediately go to the two chests on the opposite side of the room, where the marker points.

You will begin a dialogue with Seymour, who will tell you about his mistress, the search for members of the organization and past attempts to get to Elinas. However, the mechanical dog does not know who created it. This will end the dialogue and the mission. As a reward, you will receive 150 adventure points, 25 thousand pestilence and 20 primogems.

If you complete the Unfinished Story first (highly recommended), there will be no signposts, so you will need to go to the chests yourself to start a conversation with Seymour. At the end of the conversation, Ann will appear, who will recognize the dog and offer him visit Marie-Anne With You. This is where their story ends for now. Perhaps it will be continued in the next patches.
