In Genshin Impact The Lone Phantom Sail is Fontaine's world assignment, during which you will need to help Aiz choose the right signals and send them using the shell by solving a small puzzle. If you're having trouble getting and completing this quest, check out our guide.

Walkthrough of the world quest "The Lone Phantom Sail"

    How to start a quest

Before you can take it on, you will first need to complete a side mission called “This is not pumpkin soup for you…”. Next, head to the Deserted Place, located north of Merusi Village. To the left of the purple portal you will find Aiz - chat with her.

How to send a signal using a shell

After talking to the melusine, move to the Elton Hollow and swim north to the marked area. Soon on the right you will find the wreck of a sunken ship, next to which Aiz will swim. Near it you will see a box with an echolusk, with the help of which you will send signals.

Note: Before approaching Aiz, we advise you to hit the xenochromic plump floating nearby to take away its ability, since it is with the help of it that you will control the echolusk.

Chat with a new friend. It will tell you about the existing signals and their meaning. Then you will need to select a signal: from the longest, from the shortest, or from what is of medium length. Your choice will affect which message to send to the ghost ship.

So, remember that short low notes are created by quickly using the skill (E) on the shell, and long low notes by holding the skill (E) for a long time and shooting at the shell (immediately release the key after releasing two waves). All combinations are listed below:

    • Longest: Fast E, Long E, Fast E, Long E, Fast E, Long E, Fast E, Long E, Fast E, Long E -shka.
    • Shortest: long E, fast E, long E.
    • Medium length: long E, long E, long E, long E, long E (just hold the E key continuously).

You can talk to Aiz at any time and ask her to remind you of the combination. If you fail the test, then it's okay, since it can be repeated any number of times. You can also ask your friend to send the signal herself if you still can't repeat it (this will not affect the ending).

Move behind the mirage and explore the area

A ghost ship will appear ahead - start following it. When you swim up to him, he will disappear, and then reappear a little ahead. Keep swimming after him. Then chat with Aiz next to the stone. Next, you will need to find evidence of the existence of the vessel.

To do this, activate the echolusk lying nearby. It will mark the location of four hidden objects that you will need to inspect. All of them are shown in the screenshot below (two of them are inside the ship). If the dots disappear, then just interact with the shell again. As a result, you will find a ship's log, ballast, mora pouch and a lot of wreckage.

Send the signal again with the shell

Aiz will note that the evidence found is not enough, so he will offer to send the signal again. Choose any of the proposed ones, and then again hit the shell with the desired elemental skill options.

Explore the area near the sunken ship

Soon a ghost ship will appear on the right - start following it. When it disappears, surface and get to the land in the marked area. Here you will find many shipwrecks.

Approach the bucket next to the crates and examine it for a nautical journal. You will learn that the ship sank due to a battle with a huge sea monster. Then you will be attacked by the Hounds of the Rupture, which will need to be destroyed.

After the battle, you will see a white light on the sand - go up to it and inspect a Strange Object. You will find out what happened on the ship in its last seconds of life. Then talk to Melusina and Paimon. When the dialogue comes to an end, the task will end and you will unlock the achievement. «The White Ship ".

As a reward, you will receive 300 adventure points, 20 thousand pestilence, 40 primogems, 3 hero books, 3 magical enhancement ores and 1 uncommon spare part.
