How to start a task
First of all, you will need to get to the village of Merusi, where the melusine you need actually lives. You can access it immediately after arrival at Fontaine. We talked in detail about how to get to this settlement in the quest "The Illusion’s Finishings". In short, you need to dive into the pond, dive to the bottom, and then emerge from the other side and jump into the hole.
Then just go through the tunnel forward, and eventually you will reach the village. Go down and look for Verenata near the fire with a pot. Talk to her and agree to help her.
Note: There are no special conditions for starting this quest, however, if the melusine is not in the indicated place, then try to raise your Adventure Rank.
How to defeat enemies
During a conversation with Verenata, you can choose two dialogue options:
- I will help you. Let's go - in this case, the potion master will immediately take you to a place to test his elixirs.
- I'm not ready yet - then the potion master will remain waiting for you near the fire. Just talk to her again when you're ready.
In the place where you will arrive, you will need to fight the rift protogens, which are highly resistant to Dendro or Geo elements. Plus, they can inflict significant damage if you use characters with energy in battle Pneuma or Usiya. So we advise you to prepare a team in advance.
After dealing with two waves of enemies, talk to Verenata again, who will be standing near the crate and barrel. Tell her about your success, and then take on the next combat test by drinking Grey-warm.
Pyro slimes will suddenly appear. Deal with two waves of enemies and again chat with the novice potions master. She will want to return to her workshop With You you to complete the experiments.
Head to Verenata's Workshop
Melusina's lab is underwater, so enter the water body and then dive in. Get to the bottom in the indicated area - here you will see a blue shell, which is a kind of roof for the workshop. As soon as you swim to the right place, a new cutscene starts.
The third elixir is a decoction of truth, with which you can see the "wrong side of the world." As a result, you will notice a translucent ship floating under water. Tell Verenata about it. This task will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 40 primogems, 300 adventure points, 20 thousand pestilence, 3 magical enhancement ores, 3 hero books and 1 uncommon spare part.
