Since this is a daily quest, you cannot start it yourself - you will have to wait until it drops in the quest log. However, you can slightly increase the chance that you will come across this daily:

Complete the mission "New Horizons of Adventure" to open dailies in Fontaine.
In the "Assignments" section of the Traveler's Handbook, select the Hydro region.

Talk to Verut

Go to the location under Cours-de-Fontaine, Flev Sandr. Just below the teleport you will see two children - Orel and Verut. Verut loves to play hide-and-seek, but he's already been hiding in every possible place, and his brother always finds him. You agree to play with the boys.

Aurel doesn't even try to hide: just go down the stairs to Crossa's shop to see him. Talk to the boy so that he counts in the task.

Where to find Verut

There are several places where the baby can hide:

In a nook next to Orel - you will see him as soon as you talk to the first brother.

Next to the boxes. From Orel, go a little north - focus on the elderly merchant Bracari - and to the right.

At the iron lift. From the place of conversation with the boys, go north, jump off the platform and turn left.

Talk to Verut

Return to the same place where you first spoke with the brothers. Verut will be upset that he was found again, but still invites you to play with him one more time. This will complete the quest.
