Walkthrough of the mission “Hole in the Sky” in Cyberpunk 2077
How to start a mission
It starts automatically immediately after you slide down the garbage chute as part of the task "Unknown Land", that is, you do not need to perform any additional actions. If the quest suddenly does not become active, then start tracking it yourself by manually selecting it in the quest log.
Get to the crash site and get to the crane
The crash site is approximately 600 meters away, so we advise you not to go there on foot, but to take some kind of vehicle and drive to the quest marker without being distracted by anything. Soon you will reach a barricade.
Next, you can do it in two different ways:
- Don't get off the vehicle and just move ahead, driving around concrete blocks and trucks on the right side. Then drive on without stopping and go up the stairs directly with the car. In the corridor, get out of the car and jump down. Then start walking along the scaffolding towards the crane. Be prepared for fierce resistance. It is also advisable to choose transport more quickly.
- If you are not confident in your strength and survivability, then you can try to get to the crane in stealth mode. To do this, go around the blockades on the left and go down next to the truck. Climb over the double fence and go towards the blue van. Behind him will be the stairs you need, which will be guarded by one soldier - you can distract him with something or hack him. Climb up and follow the same path that we indicated above. Here, by the way, you don’t have to hide anymore, since you have passed the most dangerous section.
Get to the crashed shuttle
When you find yourself in the crane booth, chat with Jay. Exit and go up the ladder to climb onto the crane boom. Walk forward a little, and then jump into the hole to find yourself at the crash site of the airliner. Deal with the enemies ahead. Be careful, as enemy reinforcements will arrive soon.
You can also try just running forward, as the robots will be able to distract the attention of some enemies. Run to the end of the route and crawl under the rubble. Below you will find a crashed shuttle. Turn right and break through the wall (there will be two enemies standing near it) to open a path forward.
Walk down the red-lit hallway and go outside again. Go down the stairs to the area where there is a big shootout. It is not necessary to fight all the enemies - just run forward to the open hatch and go inside the shuttle.
How to find Rosalind Myers and deal with the attackers
Once on the ship, carefully inspect it to collect valuables. Go to the back of the shuttle where the secure cabin is located. The jay will open the door for you, so you can crawl into the right place. During the cut scene you will meet Rosalind. Say you came from a mutual friend.
Then a new group of enemies will appear. You will need to deal with all opponents together with Myers. Among them there will be a large combat robot, so make sure you have heavy weapons. By the way, we recommend using the Achilles rifle, which can be picked up on board the ship.
Don't forget to also pick up the heavy machine gun dropped by stormtroopers - this is a one-time weapon (V throws it away after depleting ammo) that deals huge damage. When you have dealt with the last enemy, the quest will immediately be completed and a new task, “All the President’s Men,” will begin.
