How to start a mission

First of all, go to the teleport in the west of the new Fontaine Research Institute, and then run from it towards the anchorage: there will be a small building near the shore, and on the pier you can talk to Egui.

Save Balen

You can get to the hilichurl parking lot by swimming, or call a wave ship on the shore nearby and swim there by water transport. Deal with the opponents, and then open the cage in which Balen sits.

Return to Egui

Returning back to the Egui work area, talk to the man and report on the successful release of the young repairman. During the conversation, Balen will not only thank the heroes, but also ask for help with repairing the underwater pipeline, and will also give instructions on how to fix leaks.

Repair the pipeline in the Meropid prison area

You have to visit 4 points in the vicinity of the Meropid fortress, and also adjust the valves so that gas does not escape from the pipes. We suggest teleporting to the center of the underwater location and starting from the pipeline southeast of the prison.

First trumpet

The first leak location is under the starting teleporter: swim down to the iron structure with a pair of mechanical stingrays floating in front of it.

Destroy the enemies interfering with the repair (the task will be made easier by the abilities of the xenochrome armored crab swimming on the sand nearby), and then swim to the valves and turn top down, A bottom - left.

Second trumpet

Now swim north to the marker: there will also be two valves here, but before you adjust them you will have to solve puzzle with two Scarlet pranksters. These creatures burst from normal attacks, but the problem is that they need to be destroyed almost simultaneously.

Pick a skill xenochrome jellyfish, shoot the E-shka towards one of the creatures, and then hit the second one and press the skill again: the jellyfish will explode remotely and both interference will be destroyed. Then turn the valves so that they look Each other, as indicated in the screenshots below.

The next pipeline is located to the west of the previous one. Just get to the quest area and turn the Handwheel turquoise marker down.

Fourth trumpet

To find the final repair point, sail north past The Fortress of Meropide. There is no Handwheel on this pipeline, and the part itself is located just below in an algae trap.

Return to Balen
