The world quest “In Search of Lost Time: South” is part of a chain of quests to find punched paper tapes in Genshin Impact. In this guide, we will tell you where you can start this mission and how to activate the terminal to get all the necessary data from it.
How to start a task
Head to the dilapidated bridge located in the southwestern part of the New Institute area. There you will see a man named Broglie. Talk to him to find out what happened. After the dialogue, you can begin the mission.
How to complete the task
This station is located in the water directly below where you met the scientist. Just dive down from the bridge and you will see the right tower under the water. Swim through the upper window, this will take you to the central control room.

How to start the terminal
Swim out of the tower and take the skill from the xenochrome jellyfish. Use it to destroy the robot floating nearby. After this, the mechanism is unlocked. Hit it with a normal attack to remove the door to the bottom of the tower. The passage will be open for a limited time. If you didn't manage to get inside, just hit the switch again.

To do this, first focus on the video finder mounted on the ceiling. Then aim at the camera on the wall to the left. Then look into the lower lens opposite. Move to the very first chamber, following the previous route in reverse order. When you see the video finder located on the ceiling, direct the received energy into the battery attached next to it.
