How to start a task
It should start automatically after the completion of the previous chain called "Vagrants and Scamps". Open your quest log and start tracking the corresponding quest. If it does not appear there, then try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and re-login.
Wait for tomorrow
In the Paimon menu, change the time to 8 am the next day.
Meet Talokard
Go to Mermonia Palace. After entering, turn left and find your allies. Talokard learned that the knife you found in the last task belongs to the Elegant Tableware trade guild. The guild was in fact a complex financial pyramid, and even after the arrest of the participants, the victims did not receive compensation.
Head to the Elegant Ware base
The base is located underwater, in the southern part of the Elton Trench. For ease of movement, use a special water portal.
Distract the crowd without being noticed
To sneak onto the ship unnoticed, approach it from the side of the powder barrels. It’s better not to touch the barrels themselves - the alarm will go off and you’ll have to start over.

Find clues

Deal with the guild members
The criminals will return. Now you need to prove their guilt. In the menu that opens select diary.
The leader will get angry with Valyashka, and they will start fighting. Engage in battle and calm them down.
Valberry will explain that he did not steal Monsieur Arthur, but he met a man from Fatui who wanted to get into the editorial office.
Travel to Fleve Sandres
You will automatically be transported to the desired location, where you just need to go down the stairs. Fatui will at first mistake you for an accomplice, but will quickly come to his senses and run away. He'll head up the nearby stairs, so you can easily catch up to him.
The man will give his name - Bolard - and say that his mission was to find the Mosso Lombroso research base. That's why he wanted to get into the editorial office. But he also came after Arthur was kidnapped. In addition, he discovered a threatening Letter from a certain girl, signed “Crow or Blackbird?”.
Head to the Debord Hotel in the evening
Rewind the time to approximately 19.00 and head to meet Talokard - she is waiting for you on the second floor of the restaurant. You will convince the self-disappointed Melusine not to give up and find Dr. Mosso's base, preventing Arc from going into sleep mode.
Go to the editorial office
You decide to role-play 4 suspects. You will get the role of the Strongman, but first you need to understand the order of events.
You will again switch to “investigator” mode.
Restore the order of events
First question: who came to the crime scene first? Answer: Rosher.
Who came second? Answer: Bolard.
Who was third? Answer: Strongman- Valberry.
Finally, the last thing the editors had was Kevin.
Now all that remains is to deal with the letter. Talocard will tell you that Mosso was convicted at the instigation of the “Steam Bird,” which spread gossip about his lie detector. You can ask Euphrasia about all this - but you decide to postpone this matter until tomorrow, so this quest will end.
