In Honkai: Star Rail The night of cosmic hallucinations is companion's mission, in which you and Argenti will have to solve one serious problem that arose on Yarilo-VI. Walkthrough of the companion mission “Night of Cosmic Hallucinations”
How to start a task
Before you can undertake its implementation, you will need to meet some important conditions, namely:
- Reach at least 34th Mastery level.
- Complete the exploration mission called "Silence of the Galaxy", unfolding on Yarilo-VI.
Having dealt with the requirements presented above, wait for the message from Pom-Pom to arrive. She will tell you about the imminent start of spring cleaning and ask you to return to the General Car. After reading this information, the corresponding quest starts. If nothing happens, then try teleporting to another area and/or logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and re-enter the game.
Now just move to the Star Express and chat with Pom-Pom. She will tell you about Soaptopias, designed for cleaning spaceships. Then say you are ready to travel to open the area reconnaissance page.
Note that in this “dungeon” you will have to fight Argenti, who is vulnerable to physical, fire and ice types of damage. So we advise you to take damage dealers of the corresponding elements with you. Plus, you will encounter bugs that are vulnerable to imaginary damage, so you can add one character with this element to your squad.
Find out who your mysterious visitors are
Shortly after leaving for Soaptopia, your train will be involved in an accident. Two mysterious guests will appear in the General carriage. Approach the one standing near the table and examining the plant in the pot. Ask him why he came to you.
Engage in battle with Argenti
The mysterious guest will introduce himself as Argenti. He will challenge you to a duel with any answers, because he believes that only in this way can he convey to you the meaning of the Beauty of the eon of Idrila. In this battle, it is not necessary to defeat the enemy - you only need to survive several of his attacks, as Welt will appear and stop your fight.
Calm down the “squire” of the Knight of Beauty
Welt will ask you to calm Vellit, another guest who has boarded the Star Express with Argenti. He will stand behind Welt and begin to tell you what happened to him (you can choose any answers, as it will not affect the ending) until a loud sound interrupts your conversation.
Defeat immature stingbugs
Approach Pom-Pom, who will be startled by the loud noise. She will assume that the noise was coming from the passenger car or the conductor's area. March 7 decides to check his cabin and meets his evil doppelganger there. She stops answering her calls, so you decide to check if she's okay.
Enter the girl's room and fight the immature sting bugs. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the picture below. If there is an imaginary damage dealer on your team, then dealing with these enemies will be relatively easy. Try to destroy them one by one, concentrating all attacks on one enemy, since after receiving fatal damage, these beetles explode, causing damage to their allies (a chain reaction can destroy all the beetles).
Take photos and look for clues.
Return to the main carriage and chat with Himeko to ask her about clues pointing to the infestation. Next, you will need to carefully inspect the room using your camera to find the eggs of the swarm.
First of all, go to the universal synthesizer standing behind Himeko, and then press the “R” key and point the lens at the device. Wait for the scan to complete. Eventually you will find an egg. If scanning does not start, then try to get close to the sphere.
Now turn the camera to the right and approach the music player. Scan it with your camera. You will find some more eggs and destroy them.
Turn around and run towards Welt, who is standing slightly ahead. Take your camera and scan it. Fortunately, you won't find any eggs.
Turn left, pick up the camera and point the lens at Pom-Pom. Again, you will not find any eggs in her fur. Then talk to the conductor. You can choose any place from which to start exploring, since you will explore them all anyway.
Help Argenti defeat the stingbugs
While exploring Dan Heng's room, you will find Argenti and a sting bug. The Knight of Beauty will be hallucinated. Engage in combat with an insect. This time you will have to fight four beetles at once. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the screenshot below.
We advise you to first deal with immature stingbugs in order to cause them to self-destruct, causing damage to allies. Note that these opponents can impose a Fury effect on your characters, which will not allow you to control your heroes. You can get rid of this debuff with the help of supports.
Then return to the general carriage and chat with Welt. He will tell you about the method by which you can remove the Starlight Express from the stomach of a giant stingbug. Next, you will need to chat with Dan Heng and Himeko, and also cheer everyone up.
Chat with Argenti privately and listen to his plan. He wants to sacrifice himself by fighting the huge stingbug alone. While you can support his plan or try to persuade him to abandon it, this will not affect the ending in any way, so choose any answers (they only affect dialogue).
Defeat Argenti in battle
After completing the dialogue with Argenti, a new duel with him will begin. This time you will have to fight the beauty knight to the bitter end. The battle will consist of two stages, since the enemy has two health bars.
Argenti is able to summon special statues when using the Spear and Shield skill. They all have different abilities. At the same time, they can be strengthened by the “Spirit of Perseverance” of the beauty knight. So we advise you to destroy these totems as quickly as possible.
In addition, destroying statues will benefit your squad. Sometimes you will receive buffs, and other times you will deal extra damage to enemies. We advise you to give priority to the destruction of the “Awarded” statue, as it increases Argenti’s damage, and when killed, gives a buff to the character who attacked it.
If you do not have time to destroy the statues in time, then use heroes who can remove buffs from enemies, for example, Pelu or Lochu. This way you can weaken the boss, preventing him from dealing maximum damage to you.
Talk to Welt and Himeko
After the battle, talk to Welt. Vellit will try to dissuade Argenti from his plan, but the knight of beauty will be adamant. Then watch a cutscene during which the Starlight Express will be able to escape from the Stingbug's stomach. After this, the test will be completed.
Next, talk to Himeko. She will ask you what you think beauty means. You will have several answer options to choose from, but they do not affect the ending, but only slightly change the dialogue. In any case, the girl will note that beauty comes in many forms, so she will wonder what exactly the knights of Idril are looking for.
Then respond to the message from Argenti that arrives on your phone. You will know that he is okay. This will bring the task to an end. As a reward, you will receive 600 mastery points, 100 star jades, 8 traveler's guides, 70,000 credits, music records and upgrade materials.
Where to find a letter from Argenti
Immediately after the beauty knight's task, you can find the letter he left behind. To do this, move to the General Car (if you left it), and then go to the table near the chair on which there is a flower pot.
The letter is called "The Face of Fourteen Illusions" and is a poem written by Argenti in honor of the eon of beauty.
