Wilting Weeping Willow in Genshin Impact: How to Find the Altar and Solve the Puzzle

In Genshin Impact The quest “Wilting Weeping Willow” is a continuation of the chain of missions "Wild Fairy Erinyes". In this part of the story, you will need to sink to the bottom of the lake to find the Key there. We will tell you how to remove all dirt to gain access to the altar.

How to start the mission "Wilting Weeping Willow"

First of all, you need to complete the first part of the chain called "The Path in the Misty Forest". After this, the quest will automatically appear in the list of tasks.

How to get the Key

Go to the lake, in the middle of which stands a yellowed weeping willow. Dive deep into the pond and swim to the altar at the bottom. Interact with him to receive further instructions.

After reading the text, find the sharpray floating nearby and take away its ability by aiming a charged normal attack at it.

You will need his skill to free the trapped octopus. It is located directly above the altar. Aim with the razor blade skill and release when the weak points of the vines are located at the same level to cut them all at once.

When the octopus is free, take the skill from him. After this, swim to two clots of mud located at the bottom a little away from the altar. You will need to clear them with a held skill, as you did in the previous step.

As a result, a bubble will appear in place of the mucus. Use the octopus's skill again to move it closer to the altar. You need to position the sphere so that it is closer to the pipes with one symbol, and further away from the instrument with two symbols. This way, when you pop the balloon, the shock wave will produce the sound in the correct order. In the image below you can see an example version.

After you activate all the tools, swim up to the altar to pick up the Key. After the dialogue with Pakhsiv, the task will be completed.
