In Genshin Impact Happy birthday is small Fontaine's world quest, which is a kind of ending to the Caterpillar story. As part of it, you will have to visit Earnshaw's farm to find out how he is doing, and then take on the search for Lanoir. How to start a task
Before you have access to it, you must meet a number of conditions, which include:
- Completion of a long quest line called "In the footsteps of Narcissus".
- Completing a world quest "In the Upon a Flowery Field of Grass".
- End of quests "Wild Escape 1 and 2".
Having dealt with these requirements, head to Earnshaw, who can be found northwest of the capital of Fontaine - he will stand at a crossroads. Chat with him and find out what's bothering him. He will tell you about Lanoir's disappearance and ask for help in finding her.
Where to find Lanoir
A new quest marker will appear on the map, located in the north. Run towards it, and not far from the Fatui camp and the chest you will find a girl. There will indeed be a Hilichurl standing next to her, but it will be our old friend Caterpillar.
Chat with the baby and the outcast. After completing the conversation, the quest will come to an end. You will not receive any reward for it, but you will unlock the achievement "The story is over, but...". Plus, you can get 20 points Fontaine's reputation for the completed mission.
