In Honkai: Star Rail It All Started With a Man and a Dog: Difficulty 3 is a combat reconnaissance test conducted as part of the event "Hunt for Exotic Pets". As part of it, you will have to open the door by arguing with a robot security guard, win a debate with the butler and expose his lies, and also find a lost curiosity. Walkthrough of combat reconnaissance "It All Started With a Man and a Dog: Difficulty 3"
Before you can take on this challenge, you will need to complete the previous level: "Man is a Dog's Friend: Difficulty II". Then simply talk to the little robot again in the Isolated Zone and select the desired combat reconnaissance.
The picture above shows all the challenge objectives - if you complete them, you will receive an additional 30 Star Jades. Let’s add that at the location you can encounter various stingers, so we advise you to take quantum, imaginary, physical and/or fire damage dealers.
Open the door by winning an argument with a security robot
After entering the new area, go through the door on the left side, enter the room and talk to Pippi. Next, you will need to find a way to unlock the door. Turn around and take control of the dog.
Return to the corridor and go to the next marker, going through the passage on the right. There you will find a small robot - enter into dialogue with him. To obtain access rights, you need to select the following answer option:
- Let Pippi threaten your name.
You will return to your characters and receive a new item that will be useful to you in the future. Go out into the corridor and open the large door using the controller. Upon entering the new room, talk to the butler - he will lie, saying that he does not have any curiosity.
How to explore the terminal nearby
You will take control of Pippi again. Run to the control panel, where there are two large monitors with blue screens. Interact with them and click on “Check Usage Data” to get evidence "Records of external communications".
How to collect clues
After exploring the terminal, turn around and go to the table on which there is a pink plate of jelly - interact with it to receive A fragrant dessert.
Now go down the steps to the lower level of the room. Turn left and talk to the purple cat. He won't want to reveal the butler's secret, so you'll have to give him the dessert you discovered earlier. As a result, you learn that the butler loves fried rice.
After talking with the greedy creature, go to the pot with two green plants and examine it to find yesterday's Cosmic Fried Rice.
How to expose the butler's lies and find the lost curiosity
Having collected all the necessary evidence, return to the butler and talk to him again. A debate will begin, in which you will need to select your opponent’s remarks and refute them using evidence found earlier.
Butler's response: “Your statement that I am behaving immorally...”
- Provide evidence: Anomalous images from surveillance cameras.
Butler's response: “Do you want to know how unique I am as Ruan Mei’s creation? Well, for example...”
- Show proof: Cosmic fried rice (yesterday's).
Butler's response: “She and I always communicated through the terminal. She instructed me...”
- Provide evidence: Records of external communications.
As a result, you will be able to uncover the butler's lies. He will tell you where the wonder is.
How to return a lost curiosity
Go through the door to the south and enter the hallway. Move forward to the energy anchor, and then turn left. Here you have to deal with the stingbugs (their vulnerabilities are shown in the picture below). Try to deal with immature sting beetles first, as they can continually create copies of themselves.
Let's add that a young stingbug can cause rage in your fighters, taking control over them from you. Therefore, take into your squad shield warriors/healers who can remove weakening from allies. Having dealt with the enemies, go to the lost curiosity and pick it up.
At this point, combat reconnaissance will come to an end, and you will receive your reward: 30 star jades, 5 condensed ether, 5 adventure logs, 5 lost gold particles and 50 thousand credits.
