Cosmic Star Honkai: Star Rail - This adventure mission in Penaconia, during which you will meet actor Leslie Dean and learn the truth about his mysterious appearance in the Dream World. Walkthrough of the quest Cosmic Star
How to start a task
You will gain access to the quest immediately after completing the main storyline "The Sound and the Fury", namely tasks “And who is the killer?..”
You will receive a message from Sweet Dreams in the channel "Leslie Dean Fans Unite!" It features the sudden appearance of the late Leslie Dean in the Golden Moment. From the messages menu, you can go straight to the mission log and start tracking the mission.
Find a certain celebrity
Teleport to the northwestern part of the Golden Flash and go towards the local large nest. Talk to Leslie and his fans. One of them will provide you with newspaper clippings with news about the death of Leslie Dean on the cruiser.
The actor will tell you that he miraculously survived the disaster and was saved by the Knight of Beauty. True, due to injuries, he could not return to his career, and received such an opportunity only recently, getting to Penaconia.
Listen to Chasik
You will hear your friend's voice. Step aside and talk to Chasik. He claims that there is something wrong with Leslie, that he is missing something.
Replenish Leslie Dean's emoticon face
Talk to the actor and go to his emote face. Start the “Sadness” gear (you could get this gear during the story quest "Through a Glass Darkly" ). The actor will apologize and ask fans to leave him alone.
Leslie Dean will tell you that he was overcome by a strange feeling as if all his memories did not belong to him. He will ask you to talk to a representative of the Family in reality.
Talk to hotel staff in real life
Teleport to the real Reverie Hotel and head towards the reception. Ellie is standing behind one of the sofas - talk to her. She will promise to inform the Hounds about this, but will immediately correct the slip and say that she will inform the Family members.
Return to Leslie Dean
Travel back to the Golden Moment. On the spot, talk to the frightened Pepeshi fan. She will report that someone is trying to kidnap the actor.
Find Leslie Dean
Climb the stairs nearby to see a scene of Leslie and the Hounds talking. The latter want to eliminate the actor. Talk to them to start the fight.
You will have to defeat 2 Telebellies, a Soda Hound and a Dancing Beak. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the screenshot below.
The most unpleasant thing is to fight with Telebellies - with their “Frightening Broadcast” skill, they take energy away from your allies, so we advise you to first break through their vulnerability. If possible, attack the Hound as well - after the finishing blow, it will damage your other enemies.
After the battle, talk to the actor. He will say that the Hounds mentioned room 1007 - probably the hotel room where Leslie Dean fell asleep - as well as the Dreamworld anomaly. He will ask you to check the number 1007 in reality.
Find Leslie Dean's number
Go to the Dreams Hotel and go to the western apartments. Go to the number marked with the quest marker. The door will not open and, regardless of your subsequent choice, you will decide to turn the doorknob. The room will open, but it will be empty.
Find clues
The first piece of evidence on your way will be a stack of photographs of the actor.
Walking a little further, you can pick up the trading card on the chair and watch a clip of the movie with Leslie Dean.
There is a paper check nearby. From it you can understand that the guest staying in the room has not paid for it for two weeks.
Underneath the dream maker you will find an envelope containing a letter describing the Leslie Dean revival project. It turns out that the actor himself died, and his fans bought his consciousness and memories and recreated Leslie in the Dream World.
Talk to the cleaning lady
Your thoughts will be interrupted by an alarmed cleaning lady. Ask her about the guest who lived in this room. He had to move out due to financial difficulties.
Talk to Leslie Dean
Head to the southwestern part of Golden Flash. Tell the actor the whole truth. He will want to talk to those who created him.
Customize your emote face
To unlock the emoticon face, you'll need to use the replacement lock core, a Leslie Dean revival project. Launch the watch face.
Enter the emo environment
You will immediately be taken to the squad setup menu. The game advises taking heroes with ice, fire and electric damage types into your team.
Immerse yourself in synesthesia dreams and find their creator
Talk to the actor and go down the corridor to the door marked "Robert". Open it.
You will enter Leslie's mental labyrinth. Approach the two kids by the sofas and listen to their conversation.
Go in the opposite direction and look at adult Robert. His best friend Harry passed away.
Go to the third sofa and look at the photo of Robert and Leslie Dean.
Take a photo of Robert and Harry
Return to the children and take a photo of them.
Go to the other sofas, replace the photo on the table and turn off the TV.
Then go to the door and leave the room.
Find the second creator
Go to the next door marked "Gillian". Enter the mental labyrinth.
Find the oddities
As you enter the room and walk forward a little, you will see many figures of Leslie Dean.
Dispel false illusions
Go to 2 images of the actor and destroy them. After interacting with the third image, you will have to engage in battle.
Your opponents will be two “My Heart Is Broken” memes and two “All-Seer” memes. They all have Electric and Ice vulnerabilities, and the first two memes also have Fire vulnerabilities.
First of all, we advise you to break through the “My Heart is Broken” vulnerability - after that it will be much easier to defeat them.
After the fight, exit Gillian's dreams.
Find the third creator
Head to the next door marked "Flora".
Look at Flora from afar. Leslie Dean recognizes her as her assistant.
Follow Flora's illusions
Approach a group of people and watch the scene where Leslie and Flora meet.
A little further, use the elevator and move to another part of the space.
Go to the sofa and listen to the conversation between the actor and his assistant.
Go ahead and watch Flora's friend comfort the upset girl.
The next illusion is a conversation between Leslie and Flora. The actor moves to another agency and their collaboration must end.
Let Leslie talk to Flora
Approach the girl and listen to Leslie's confession and Flora's confession.
After the conversation, go to the bathysphere and exit the dreams.
Talk to Leslie Dean
Back at Golden Moment, talk to the actor. He gradually disappears, but feels calm because his fans have freed themselves from illusions and will remember him as a good person.

In addition, you will receive a sticker "Celebrities" from the Dream Seeker set and achievement "East of Eden" from the "Our Memories" section, which will give you 5 more jades. Another achievement that you can get for this quest (if you didn’t get it in another task) is "Tide of Heat" from the same section and with the same award. Her condition is to resolve the emergency in the Clockwork, which you did by repairing Leslie Dean's emote face.
