In Wuthering Waves "We Promise, We Deliver" is an exploration mission that tasks you with defeating the Inferno Rider by solving several puzzles, completing a target shooting challenge, and fighting a ton of enemies. How to start a task
First of all, you will need to complete the story mission called “Ominous Star”. After this, the corresponding quest will appear in your journal, but it may be blocked - to open access to it, you must first reach the 10th level of Union.
Next, start tracking it (click on the “Track” button) so that the game displays quest markers, which will significantly simplify the search for the necessary places and objects.
Check the wanted poster on the notice board
Travel to the eastern lighthouse of Jinzhou City, then go a little northwest and interact with the notice board to examine the request from the Climate Research Center. They need a person who can defeat the terrible monster in the Sea of Flames.
Read the letter and contact the Lollo Logistics branch
Open the main menu (Esc key), and then click on the letter icon in the lower right corner of the screen. Here, read the message titled “Notification of Order Cancellation”, which will notify you that delivery is not possible.
Head to the northern part of the city and find two delivery company employees arguing with each other about something. Mimika plans to fulfill the order, despite the danger, and her manager will try to dissuade her from this venture. You can agree with the girl or try to convince her not to do this - you can choose any answers, as they will only slightly affect dialogue.
Find Mimic's communications panel and fight a mysterious enemy
Mimic will leave in any case, and Tang Manliu will ask you to help him find her, since communication with her has disappeared. You can immediately go with the guy (in this case, you will immediately be transported to the desired location) or tell him that you will go there alone (then you will have to get to the marked place on your own).
Having moved to the required point or reached it, approach Manlyu and talk to him again. Next, go down to the very center of the Sea of Flame, where the quest marker points. After landing, go to the tablet, highlighted with a purple icon and lying on the ground.
Immediately after this, you will be attacked by Inferno Rider: Blazing Guardian. Note that you will fight him playing as Rover (Spectro). You won't be able to win this fight - you just need to try to bring the boss's health to about 70-75%. After this, he will have a shield that you will not be able to break through.
Be careful, as you may very well get killed in this battle, so don't forget dodge and parry attacks enemy if possible. Then keep hitting his red barrier until a cutscene starts.
Talk to Mimic and find the source of the signal asking for help
When you wake up, leave the tent and chat with Mimika and her manager standing nearby. A little later, Mortefi will tell you some details about the enemy you previously fought.
Next, teleport to the nexus a little south and talk with Mimika there. Now return to the Sea of Flames again and jump down to the quest marker. Find the girl near the two cars and approach her to start the video. Mimic will ask if you are ready to move to the abandoned center. You can go with her (you will immediately be transported to the desired location) or get there on your own.
Complete the target shooting challenge
Get to the Donglu Research Station and go inside. Then chat with the exile and tell him about your problem with the fire monster. He will ask you to take a test of shooting a cannon at moving targets.
You will need to collect a certain number of points to advance to the next stage. Interact with the cannon and start shooting at the orange targets to score points. Note that your shots deal piercing damage, which means you can destroy two targets at once if they stand in the same row, as shown in the picture below.
Shoot at targets with the image of an explosion to immediately destroy all the signs adjacent to them. If the targets are moving, wait until they get close to the explosive diamond. On the third wave, red circles will begin to appear - under no circumstances shoot at them, as in this case you will, on the contrary, lose points.
After passing the test, open the chest on the left, and then talk to the exiles again. They will tell you where to go next.
Solve the pipe puzzle
Move to the second research complex, located a little to the south, and deal with the group of exiles near the entrance. Then go to the grate and talk to the girl so she will let you inside. Here you have to solve a riddle with pipes.
You will need to look for pieces of pipes, pick them up with the Levitator by pressing the “T” key, and then install them in the correct places by hovering over them and clicking LMB. So, take the straight pipe lying near the board, point the camera at the empty area on the right, rotate the piece of iron once and insert it as shown in the second picture below to finish the first path.
Now pick up the "L"-shaped pipe to the right of the canister, go left through the passage and install it in the empty area (no need to turn anything here).
Go forward, ignoring the straight pipe lying down, go around the ruins and enter the next room. Here you will find another "L"-shaped pipe. Pick it up and go back to the empty area - place the part as shown in the image below. As a result you complete the second route.
Next, pick up the straight pipe lying slightly behind, return to the main hall and go through the passage on the right, and then install the part as shown in the second screenshot below.
Finally, pick up the "L"-shaped pipe lying nearby and place it in the empty area on the left, as shown in the second image below. Thus you finish the third route. Open the chest and tell the exile about the result.
Defeat the exiles and activate the platforms
Head to the camp located in the west and deal with a group of bandits there. Next, you will need to activate 4 pressure platforms in a specific sequence within 30 seconds. Luckily, the required areas will be highlighted with purple markers.
So, stand on the first platform on the ground. Then climb onto the small ledge on the left using the grappling hook and stand on the second platform. Turn the camera to the right and pull yourself towards the tower to activate the third platform. At the end, go down to the left onto the roof of the building to activate the last platform.
Activate the training dummy and hack the signal console
Approach the steel block that the marker is pointing at and hit it with a normal attack to make it operational. Then interact with the red console on the left side.
You will need to hack the system by connecting circles of the same color with matching lines. The image below shows the solution to this puzzle. Now just jump down and open the purple chest.
Find suitable spears
Head to the third abandoned research complex and talk to the exiles. Then go to the edge of the Sea of Flames and chat with Mimic.
So, you will need to find 3 special spears of high strength. To do this, you will need to hit the spikes stuck into the ground on which red flowers grow. The necessary spears will not break after your hits.
Note that by attacking these objects, you will temporarily gain immunity to Incenero pollen, but it will still pose a great danger to your characters, so be sure to take a good healer into your squad who can heal the squad in a timely manner.
First suitable spear you will find among a group of spikes a little ahead, guarded by two monsters. Break all the objects to find the thing you need.
Then move to the next group of spikes, which is on the left and is guarded by one enemy. The spear you need marked in the picture below.
Turn right and run towards the large monster ahead. Deal with it, and then check the strength of the spikes located behind the monster. One of them will be the spear you need.
After completing the test, return to Mimika and open the purple chest next to her. Then chat with the girl and go to the meeting point to talk with Woodrow.
Experience Explosive Spears
Return to the Sea of Flames and talk to the scientist again. You will need to test new weapons. To do this, you need to grab spears with the “T” key, using a levitator, and then throw them (left mouse button) at groups of opponents trying to destroy sound emulators.
In total, you need to destroy 27 enemies before they destroy one of the emulators. Do not try to hit them with your characters, as in this case you will not have time to protect the devices. We also advise you to stand on the ledge, because below you will be exposed to pollen, so the health bar of your heroes will begin to gradually decrease. After passing the test, open the chest and talk to the researcher.
Defeat Hell Rider
Move to the lighthouse on the road to the Sea of Flames, after which a cutscene will immediately begin. After talking with your friends, jump off the road and glide to the center of the location, where you will continue the battle with the Hell Rider. This time you will be able to use your team.
Hit the boss, dodge his attacks and parry blows. Remember to switch between fighters to use Outro and Intro skills, which can speed up the reduction of the enemy's shield. When you reduce his health to about 80%, he will again receive a red barrier that cannot be penetrated by anything.
Wait a little longer and then a cutscene with the spear launching will begin. Grab the landed weapon with the levitator (T key), aim at the boss, and then launch the selected projectile at him. This will remove the barrier from him and allow you to deal damage to him again.
Reducing his durability to zero the first time will force the Hell Rider off his bike. When his shield goes down a second time, he will be stunned, and you can safely deal unrequited damage to him. After dealing with the boss, absorb his Echo.
Pass the racing test
You will transform into Hell Rider and start moving up the highway. Along the way, you will need to destroy various obstacles (fireballs and shields) by clicking on the left mouse button. Drive through wooden crates to obtain various materials.
To overcome chasms, click on the right mouse button so that the bike accelerates, and you can fly over the empty span without any problems. Having reached the finish line, watch the next cut-scene with the area being cleared of pollution.
Now return to the city and talk to Mimika and her manager again. This will complete the task and you will unlock the achievement "Honor My Slogan". In addition, you will receive 1000 Unity Points, 100 Astrit, 32 thousand Credits, 9 Advanced Resonance Potions, 4 Advanced Energy Cores and a recipe for Harmony Pills.
