    Cat on Patrol in Zenless Zone Zero: How to Solve the Vortex Puzzle

    Cat on Patrol in Zenless Zone Zero — the second chapter of Nekomata's story "Cat and Mouse". In it, you will have to go into the cavern with young officers, help Nekomata pretend to be Ollie, save him from the Ethereals and catch the criminal.     How to start

    The task becomes available after completing the first part of the story, "Mice and cats", and achievements 27 Internet level To start the quest, use the video archive.

    Look for Nekomata

    Exit the video store and run right, then turn in the same direction again. Nekomata will be standing near the Banbu statue. Listen to the conversation between the two security guards.

    Keep searching

    Head back towards the video store and stop at Howl's newsstand - Nekomata is standing behind it. Eavesdrop on the conversation of the plainclothes security guys and find out what the relationships are between the different departments of the organization.

    Look for the best place for bait

    Immediately after the conversation, accept the order, return to the video rental store and use the HDD system to complete the task.

    The team should include characters of physical and fire damage types from level 28. The enemies in the cavern do not have any resistance, so there are no attribute restrictions as such. When you activate the trial mode, Nekomata will join your squad.

    From the moment you enter the cavern, everything will go wrong, and Nekomata will have to pretend to be Ollie and cooperate with the officers who arrive.

    In the first field, collect the sherlings and go to the left teleport.

    Bait Place 1

    Collect the shearlings and supplies and head to the top cage, avoiding the enemies chasing you. You won't be able to set the bait - you'll run into the Ethereals. Defeat 3 groups of enemies.

    In the opened part of the field, collect observation data and supplies and restore HP. Go to the teleport in the upper right cell.

    Bait Place 2

    Now go to the teleporter in the right cell.

    On the new field, the rows of cells disappear as you go down. To collect supplies, stand on the top red cell, then replenish HP in the green cell, then go left and down again.

    Once you reach the new field, collect the denny and restore your HP. Then examine the "Carrot" data. There you will see 4 arrows pointing in different directions: down, right, up, down.

    Go to the lower teleport.

    Collect the denny and go right.

    On the new field, go up.

    On another field, examine the note: "Red is lying" The last arrow in the sequence was red, so to get out you need to go up.

    Collect supplies and denny and fight four waves of enemies.

    Bait Place 3

    Head to the teleporter. After talking to Huggins and Delini, collect the surveillance data and move on.

    In the new field, collect the denny and place the bait in a special cage.

    Save Ollie

    Ollie will tell you that the Ethereals are approaching him. You need to send Huggins and Delaney somewhere - you can order them to split up or go together, for the further plot it won't affect. Go down.

    On the new field, move one cell to the left to find Ollie's tracks below. Follow them, opening one cell at a time.

    When two cells open at once, first go to the right and collect observation data, then return to Ollie.

    Once you reach the final cell, defeat two groups of enemies and talk to the security officer. At this time, the young officers will find one of the criminals and take him to the station.

    Finally, talk to Nekomata and the siblings to complete the quest.
