In Zenless Zone Zero Inter-Knot Level is one of the game indicators that demonstrates the progress of upgrading the player’s account. Thanks to its increase, new mechanics, activities, tasks, events and modes are opened, as well as valuable rewards are given out. There are several ways to increase this parameter, and in this guide we will look at each of them, indicating the most effective ones.
Why do you need to increase your Inter-Knot Level?
This parameter indirectly shows how far you were able to advance in exploring the game world. However, once you reach a certain threshold, you will no longer be able to increase the Internot level until you increase the Proxy Reputation. It is the increase in the latter that will unlock a lot of additional functions. You can read more about it in our separate guide.
The table below shows at what level of Internot access to increasing Reputation opens, and what exactly it unlocks.
Internot level | Proxy Reputation | Unblocks |
---|---|---|
10 | Level 1: Proxy Trainee |
Agents, banboos and amplifiers can be upgraded to level 20. Unlocks access to Combat Simulations and the Zero Cavern. |
20 | Level 2: Official Proxy |

Maximum Internet level at the moment is 60th, and we highly encourage you to achieve it. The fact is that, unlike Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, only in this case you will be able to upgrade your heroes, banbu and weapons to the maximum values. Plus, you will be able to mine more upgrade materials.
How to increase the Inter-Knot Level in ZZZ
To do this, you need to earn so-called Internot credits, which, in fact, are ordinary experience points. There are many ways to obtain them. Some are more effective than others. There are also both one-time and permanent methods for leveling up. Below we will talk about each of them in as much detail as possible, starting with the most profitable ones.
Orders
Daily
One of the most profitable permanent ways to earn Internot credits in the game. Access to it opens when completing the story mission “The Cat's Lost”. To go to the corresponding window, you need to press the “F2” key or the Notepad icon, and then go to the “Daily” tab.
Here you will find 6 tasks, for completing which you will receive from 100 to 400 activity points. To receive all rewards, you need to earn 400 points, that is, it is not necessary to complete all tasks. Let’s add that you will close many of them simply by performing daily routine actions like farming materials, so there shouldn’t be any problems with them.
For every 100 activity points you will receive 150 Internot credits, that is, in a day you can earn 600 “exp” in this way. Plus, you will be given polychromes, dennies and useful materials. Rewards are updated when the server is reset (happens every day at 4 am).
Weekly
Unique ZZZ mechanics - every week you can choose two tasks, for which exactly a week is allotted. These tasks are also relatively simple, for example, you need to take a photo of a certain cat or eat noodles. Completing both goals gives you an additional 300 experience points, as well as money and upgrade materials.
Combat simulation room
Participating in training is a great way to earn experience points, because just one opponent gives out as many as 200 Internot credits. True, it won’t be possible to farm them endlessly, since each enemy consumes battery power. The table below shows the relationship between these values.
Number of enemies | Internota loans | Battery charge |
---|---|---|
1 | 200 | 20 |
2 | 400 | 40 |
3 | 600 | 60 |
4 | 800 | 80 |
5 | 1000 | 100 |
Please note that you will have access to this mechanic when completing the story mission "The Cat's Missing". You can add a 4th and 5th enemy to free slots after reaching level 20 and 30, respectively.
If you don't have enough Internot credits to move to the next level, and you want to do it today instead of waiting for tomorrow, then you can restore 60 battery units by spending:
- Ethereal battery x1 – given as a reward for obtaining a new Internot level and increasing the Battle Pass.
- 50 polychromes – you can make up to 8 exchange attempts per day.
Tasks
Missions from the section "Main Line" are story quests and practically the only source of Internot credits at the very beginning of the game. We advise you to take on all the main quests available to you as early as possible, since completing them often rewards up to 2000 “exp”.
In addition, as you progress through the story, you will often discover new mechanics and modes, which can also give you experience points. But some missions can only be completed after reaching a certain account level, so you still can’t do without participating in additional activities.
These side activities include agent stories, combat orders, exploration missions, and city assignments. The first are personal quests for your companions, consisting of several episodes. You can also often get a large number of Internet credits for them. The rest are relatively small tasks, for which they give from 100 to 500 “exp”.
Zero cavity
You can also earn 600 Internot credits in the Zero Cavern (similar to Virtual universe from Honkai: Star Rail), increasing the level of your license - a corresponding reward is issued every 6 levels.
Note that access to this mode opens during the completion of the story mission "Chapter 1: Interlude" and reaching approximately 16th level of Internot.
Goals
Another one-time source of gaining experience points. It is also located in Notepad (first tab). By completing various tasks, you will earn 100 “exp”. Often you will simply need to improve your characters and amplifiers to certain levels, complete orders and complete various activities, that is, again, these orders will be completed by simply exploring the world.
Mini trucks
We are talking about an analogue of chests - they look like metal containers on wheels. You can find them in different locations. For finding and interacting with these mini trucks give out various rewards, including 50 Internot credits and 10 polychromes.
Tests of Inspector Meowchelo
These tests are small tasks in which you need to repair banbu, look for missing mini-trucks, collect AIK commemorative coins, and perform other similar tasks. For some of them, Internot credits are issued.
Rewards for increasing the Internot level
A separate reward is provided for increasing this indicator. To get it, go to the Diary by pressing the “E” key, clicking on the globe icon in the main menu or the lower right side of the screen. Then open the “Internet Level” tab. Here you can receive rewards when you move to a new level. Sometimes polychromes and even master copies are issued.
Legends are not born
The developers decided to additionally reward players for increasing this parameter by adding a permanent event “Legends are not born.” Press the “F1” key or click on the film strip icon to go to the events page, and then go to the desired tab. Once you reach a certain level, you can get Master Copies, Bunbulets, and Polychromes.
We hope that our guide helped you understand what the Internot level is in Zenless Zone Zero, why it needs to be increased, and how exactly this can be done.
