At the end past developer stream Honkai: Star Rail fans were given some details about the planet of festivities, Penaconia, the journey through which starts in patch 2.0. The face of the announcement was Sunday, which introduced players to the key characters of at least the first half of the upcoming story campaign.
Being the initiator of the upcoming celebration and the representative of the Family (an organization uniting the five main clans of the planet), a gray-haired man with a very unusual appearance (just look at the wings behind his ears and the halo behind his head) consistently announced the introductory information and guests of the upcoming Festival of Harmony on Penaconia. All of these characters should become playable in future updates, and Sunday is no exception.
Honorary guests of the Harmony Festival:
- Aventurine is a guest from the ubiquitous KMM and colleague Topaz, which we learn about at the end of the story “ Market of the future ";
- Sparkle[Гармония: Квантовый] a guest from the “Masked Klutzes” faction and one of the adherents of the Aeon of Joy, whose path is dedicated to only one worthwhile goal - “entertainment”.
- Robin (Robin) – Sunday’s sister and famous singer, whose performance is announced at the opening of the festival in honor of the Aeon of Harmony;
- Black Swan[Небытие: Ветряной] – a memory keeper who will arrive at the festival as a representative Garden of Memories ;
- Acheron - a mysterious VIP guest and galaxy ranger, following the path of the Aeon of the Hunt.
Service staff:
- Firefly – a festival guide from the Iris clan, who, according to some information, is not a person, but a product of genetic modification;
- Gallagher – a security specialist from the Hound clan, ensuring security at the event;
- Misha[Разрушение: Ледяной] is a young doorman working at the Dreams Hotel who dreams of one day becoming a galactic explorer.
In his announcement, Sunday also emphasized the high level of security that Penaconia promises to maintain despite the presence of possible threats:
- Sam – member of the attacking faction “Stellaron Hunters”;
- Duke Inferno – a member of the marauding group “Gang of Destruction”, which worships the Aeon of Destruction.
The initial plot of Penaconia will be connected with this cast of characters, and the release of update 2.0, according to insider information, is planned for February 7, 2024.
