Developers Honkai: Star Rail released a short trailer introducing players to the Trash King from the planet Penaconia. The content narrates the outstanding status and achievements of the humanized trash can, Tatalov, who needs the help of the Pathfinder.
After the arrival of a certain cosmic being, the Trash King lost his sight and was influenced by a force called "Permafrost". The overthrow of this already unworthy king is what the crew of the Starry Express will have to take part in. It is noteworthy that we can also recognize the name of the voiceover that introduces us to the situation - Shatana (status unknown). The developers noted that Shatana's words require some kind of "beacon of synesthesia" to understand her words, so she may not be human.
Both new and old HSR characters appear in the video: the giant Sampo (who seems to be under the influence of someone), Black Swan And Acheron, as well as several new heroes from Penaconia. All videos are more like main event announcement upcoming update 2.0, starting already February 7.
