Authors Honkai: Star Rail decided to celebrate the release of the new planet Penaconia with special events in at least five different countries, and patch 2.0, which coincides with the release of the next game region, will be extended by 7 days.
Planned activities were mentioned at past developer stream : for players from Russia a live event will take place in St. Petersburg, but this is the only information known today. According to some rumors, the special event may be a concert show. Similar events will also take place in Bangkok, Las Vegas, Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Jakarta.
The authors of HSR have also prepared separate events, but with a carnival theme, which will be held in Berlin, Paris, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Seoul, Hanoi and the capital of Taiwan, Taipei.
It also became officially known about increasing the duration of patch 2.0 : they are going to extend it by 7 days, which means the update will last not the standard 6, but as much as 7 weeks. Thus, the developer took advantage of the week's supply, which was once deducted from update 1.4. This means that players will be able to enjoy a large portion of content developed for the release of Penaconia for a whole week longer, already with February 6.
