Before the release of the second half of patch 2.0 Honkai: Star Rail HoYoverse released the second trailer Sparkles, which can be seen in banners in the near future. Let us remember that the heroine uses skills inherent in the Path of Harmony and has a quantum type of damage.
In this colorful video, unlike previous trailer, we can see the already familiar Sparkle taking an active part in the dramatic events in Penaconia. Before our eyes, the heroine puts on the guises of various characters and says that absolutely everyone plays their roles without revealing the whole truth. It is expected that the Trailblazers will be able to understand all the intricacies of the plot already during versions 2.1β2.2.
At the same time, reddit users noticed that some frames from the trailer are suspiciously similar to the work of a Japanese animator Optie Animation and fragments from anime "Rendezvous with Life".
One of the creators of the trailer said on his bilibili page that the video was inspired by the work of Optie Animation, but his comment was later deleted. In any case, it is not entirely clear whether this was really a reference without indicating a reference or whether the players were once again able to convict HoYoverse of plagiarism.
