Honkai: Star Rail 2.5 release date
HoYoverse has returned to the previous patch duration of 6 weeks, so the next version of the game will be released September 11, 2024. If the developers do not change the schedule again, it will be replaced by update 2.6 around October 23 of this year.
You can preload the client a few days before its release. The developers will probably carry out technical work, which can last up to five hours. Players are usually given compensation of 300 star jades.
Live broadcast on Honkai: Star Rail 2.5
Developers almost always hold special streams one and a half to two weeks before the next update is released. They are usually organized on Friday- Sunday. A live broadcast of the current patch will be held August 30, 2024 at 14:30 Moscow time. As part of it they will publish 3 promotional codes for 300 star jades.
New banners and characters
The company has already officially unveiled three new characters that are likely to be released in patch 2.5, namely Feixiao, Lingsha and Mojie. At the same time, insiders published the characteristics and approximate time of appearance of these and other heroes.
First phase banners
In the first half of the patch during Jumps You can get the following characters:
- 5-star – Feixiao (Hunting: Wind).
- 4-star – unknown.
Feixiao is one of the Seven Arbiter Generals of the Heavenly Arc and is proficient in a vast array of martial arts. The warriors and people of Xianzhou call her the Great General. However, Feixiao is sick with lunar brutality, so if she fails to destroy all the Abominations in the time left to her, then she will become her own enemy. Her abilities have not yet been revealed, but insiders Uncle N and Ubatcha report that her gameplay is similar to Topaz and Jing Yuan, that is, she summons a certain creature that appears in the general turn queue, and her main source of damage is bonus attacks. Plus, her skills may have something to do with breaking through enemies' vulnerabilities.
In the weapon banner, you will be able to get Feixiao's signature weapon called "I'm Going on a Hunt."
Second phase banners
In the second half of the patch (starts on October 2), the following characters can be obtained during Jumping:
- 5-star – Lingsha (Abundance: Fiery).
- 4-star – Motse (Hunting: Electric).
Linsha is a Vidyadhara and the new Cauldron Master of the Alchemy Commission. She is described as an intelligent and talented healer, with a keen sense of smell that helps her recognize illnesses and select incense to calm her mind. She has a Fire type of combat and belongs to the path of Abundance, so she will most likely be able to serve as a healer in the squad.
Mojie is Yaoqing's shadow guard who dislikes irrelevant talk and prefers to carry out the tasks assigned to him alone. He is considered an excellent intelligence officer, capable of hiding from people without any problems. This character deals electrical damage and follows the path of the Hunt, and therefore can play the role of a main or secondary damage dealer in a team.
In the weapon banner you will be able to get Jiaoqiu's signature weapon called "Fragrance Never Lies".
Changing the map
It is currently unknown whether the developers plan to expand the game world with new locations. According to rumors, another area will be added to Luofu Xianzhou due to the continuation of its storyline related to the Martial Arts Ceremony.
