In Genshin Impact Eimiya is a 5-star character who uses a Onion and elemental Pyro in combat. In a team, she can play the role of the main damage dealer with a little emphasis on support. This guide will let you know about her best builds, weapons and artifacts. We will also tell you about the optimal teams with her and give advice on pumping.
Note: The chance of getting it is now much higher thanks to the banner "Tapestry of the Golden Flame".
Emiya Features and Benefits
This archer is great for destroying single targets and solving puzzles in which you need to light torches or braziers. Its advantages also include:
- The presence of a relatively high base damage, which can be significantly increased by fire thanks to charged shots and an elemental skill.
- The ability to create powerful elemental reactions with an elemental explosion that deals AoE damage to Pyro.
- High recovery rate for elemental skills.
- Can increase the attack power of allies.
However, Eimia has a number of shortcomings, namely:
- It is necessary to regularly switch to other characters in order to fully unleash the potential of her elemental explosion.
- A small indicator of protection, so it is imperative to have a healer or a character capable of applying shields in the squad.
- It is difficult to deal high damage to large concentrations of enemies, since regular attacks cannot hit multiple targets.
- Its effectiveness greatly depends on the selected weapons and artifacts.
Eimiya's abilities
Her normal attack allows you to make up to 5 bow shots, and charged - to make an aimed shot with increased damage, and when you hold the strike button, the arrow is covered with fire and deals Pyro damage. If you bring the charge to the 2nd level, then the heroine will release up to 3 fire arrows with homing.
Elemental Skill "Niwabi Fire-Dance" creates the Niwabi ense effect, where all arrows fired by the archer are covered in fire, so they deal increased Pyro damage and make it unnecessary to use charged shots. If Eimiya leaves the battlefield, this magic will disappear.
Elemental Burst "Ryuukin Saxifrage" allows Eimiya to deal area damage to Pyro, marking one of the damaged enemies with a Golden Glow. If any other fighter from your squad subsequently attacks this enemy, then additional explosions will occur, which will also cause fire damage in an area.
In the event of the death of a mob with Golden Radiance, this status is transferred to another monster. Explosions in this case can appear no more than once every 2 seconds. If the archer dies, this effect will disappear. In addition, Eimiya also has useful passive skills:
- Tricks of the Trouble-Maker (Ascension 1) - While her elemental skill's effects are active, normal shots increase the Pyro damage bonus by 2%. This bonus lasts for three seconds and can stack up to a maximum of 10 times.
- Summer Night’s Dawn (Ascension 4) - Each time Eimiya uses her Elemental Burst, her allies gain a 10% bonus to Attack Power. The additional bonus depends on the previous passive - it can increase the attack of teammates by a maximum of 5%.
- Blazing Match - Gives a 100% chance to refund resources spent on certain materials when crafting decor, landscaping, or ornaments in teapot of serenity.
How to play as Eimia
At first glance, it might seem that this fireworks lover is a classic Pyro damage dealer who must be constantly on the battlefield. However, in reality, Eimiya is somewhat of a team player with useful support abilities. Her basic attack is pretty good, although it does a bit less damage than some of the strongest 5-star DPS like Xiao, Kamisato Ayaka, and Eula.
This archer relies on fast-paced fire arrows with high critical strike chance and increased critical damage. In addition, when ascended, she has an increased chance of a critical hit.
Eimiya's elemental skill is arguably her most important attack, as it converts all damage from regular shots to Pyro, as well as providing an additional damage bonus. Her Charged Shot takes longer to prepare, so it looks much weaker. So it is recommended to use her elemental skill on the battlefield as often as possible.
Elemental Burst has a very high potential for dealing massive Pyro damage, but note that Eimiya must swap places with an ally (in single player) to use it to the maximum. So this ability is perfect for co-op, as it allows other players to cause continuous explosions, while also receiving a bonus to attack power from the heroine's passive.
In solo mode, you can use Eimiya most of the time, only occasionally switching to secondary damage dealers after activating Ryukin's Saxifrage to create elemental reactions and cause explosions.
Constellations (talents)
To open new constellations, you will need character Serendipity, which drops out when you receive copies of the heroine during Prayers. Given the randomness of this process, you will be very lucky if you can open at least a couple of talents. We advise you to take the 2nd, 4th or 6th constellation.
- Agate Ryuukin - Increases the duration of the Golden Glow explosion by 4 seconds. Defeating an enemy with this effect increases the Heroine's Attack Rating by 20% for 20 seconds.
- A Procession of Bonfires - The heroine gains a 25% bonus to Pyro damage for 6 seconds on critical hits that deal fire damage.
- Trickster’s Flare - The level of Niwabi's Fire Dance increases by 3. Maximum level: 15th.
- Pyrotechnic Professional - After detonating the Golden Radiance, the cooldown of the elemental skill is reduced by 1.2 seconds.
- A Summer Festival’s Eve - the level of "Saxifrage Ryukin" increases by 3. Maximum level: 15th.
- Shooting Stars of Naganohara - When an elemental skill is activated, the archer's normal shots have a 50% chance to fire another arrow that deals 60% of the original damage.
The best builds for Eimiya
The best weapon
Considering that Eimiya plays the role of the main damage dealer on the battlefield, she needs a weapon for critical damage or attack power. Here are some of the most interesting options:
- Thundering Pulse (5-star; Critical Damage) - Considered to be the best weapon for Eimiya, not only because of its additional stat, but also because of the 20% increase in the character's attack power and the Thunder Rule perk. The Onion gains stacks of thunder seals when the Achievement: Hero deals elemental damage, uses an Elemental Burst, or has less than 100% energy. In turn, these levels of Thunder Seals increase your normal attack damage by 12/24/40%. All this greatly enhances Eimiya's already powerful shots.
- Amos’ Bow (5-star; attack power) is a good replacement for the previous weapon. His Volitional Shooting perk increases normal and charged attack damage by 12%. After firing an arrow with a regular or charged shot, the damage is increased by 8% for every 0.1 seconds while the projectile is in the air. Stacks up to five times. However, if you have Ganyu, then it is better to give this Onion to her.
- Skyward Harp (5-star; Critical Hit Chance) - Has a high base attack and increases the chance to deal critical damage. A great option for our Pyro Archer.
- Rust (4-star; attack power) – Among the 4-star options, this remains the most viable for Eimiya due to the Rapid Fire perk, which increases normal attack damage by a whopping 40%. At the same time, it reduces damage from charged shots. However, you still won't use them often.
- Prototype Crescent (4-star; attack power) - Hitting enemies with an Aimed Shot into weak spots slows them and increases the hero's attack power by 36% for 10 seconds. Budget option that can be crafted.
- Hamayumi (4-star; attack power) - If the above options are not available, this free Onion can be used. His recipe is out of Takashi chests. He has an interesting perk called "Draw", thanks to which the damage from normal and charged shots is increased by 16% and 12%, respectively. If Eimiya's energy is 100%, then the effects are doubled (32% and 24% respectively). For maximum effectiveness, you will have to abandon the use of the archer's elemental explosion.
- Blackcliff Warbow (4-star; Critical Damage) is not a very good option, as its effectiveness will depend entirely on how quickly you can destroy enemies, and Eimiya does not perform very well when you need to destroy many targets. Only her Elemental Burst and charged shots (when the elemental skill is off) hit multiple mobs. So take this Onion only if there are no other alternatives.
Best Artifacts
Shimenawa’s Reminiscence
- 2-Piece Bonus - Increases Attack Rating by 18%.
- 4-Piece Bonus - Increases normal and charged attack damage by 50% for 10 seconds when using an elemental skill and the heroine has 15 energy units (they will be spent).
This is a new artifact that can be found in Momiji-Dyed Court dungeon. It complements the Archer's abilities quite well (and the Thunder Pulse perk). The idea is to use your elemental skills as often as possible to enhance normal shots. Energy drain can make it difficult to fully charge your elemental blast, but it should reset once the elemental skill's duration ends.
Crimson Witch of Flames
- 2-Piece Bonus: Increases Pyro Damage by 15%.
- 4-Piece Bonus: +40% Overload and Burn damage; +15% Melt Damage and Steam. Using an elemental skill increases the set bonus by 50% for 10 seconds (stacks up to a maximum of 3 times).
This set can be found in Wu Wan's Hidden Palace Dungeon. It's a decent option for those planning to use Eimiya as part of teams aiming to create powerful elemental reactions (or if you're still collecting Shimenawa’s Reminiscence). The only downside is that the heroine's elemental skill lasts 10 seconds and has an 18 second cooldown, so you won't be able to max stacks.
You can also use sets if needed:
- 2 pieces of Burning Scarlet Witch.
- 2 pieces of Gladiator's Finish - Increases attack power by 18%. Can be obtained from elite bosses.
Retracing Bolide
- 2-Piece Bonus: Increases shield durability by 15%.
- 4-Piece Bonus: While under a shield, normal and charged attack damage is increased by 40%.
A great option for an archer if there is an effective defender in the team, for example, Zhongli. In this case, she will begin to deal even more damage, shooting at enemies almost continuously. Don't forget that taking damage, getting knocked down, or dodging can reset the heroine's attack cycle, resulting in a significant drop in DPS. This set can be obtained from the Gu Yun Realm dungeon.
Martial Artist
- 2-Piece Bonus: Increases normal and charged shot damage by 15%.
- 4-Piece Bonus: Increases damage from normal and charged shots by 25% for 8 seconds after using an elemental skill.
Although the general characteristics of this artifact are inferior to 5-star sets, however, it can be a good option for beginners who have just started pumping Eimiya. You can get this kit from Wu Wan's Hidden Palace Dungeon.
As for the characteristics of artifacts, here are the parameters that you should pay special attention to:
- Main stats: Pyro damage bonus for goblet and attack power % for hourglass; for the crown, choose either crit chance or crit damage depending on what you're missing. Don't forget that Eimiya's critical hit chance increases slightly as she levels up.
- Secondary stats: Critical Hit Chance/Critical Damage and Attack Power %.

Leveling Eimia
How to improve skills
You have to start collecting certain materials, and in considerable quantities. Below is a list of them:
- Teachings, instructions and philosophies about "Frailty" - are mined in dungeon "Violet Court" on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Scrolls of Divine Magic, Seal, and Forbidden Curse - Drop from Shamachurls and crafted using Alchemy.
- Dragon Lord’s Crown - Dropped by Elite Boss Azhdaha.
- Crown of Insight - usually bought as part of various events.
As for the leveling priority, we advise you to develop the "Firework Flash" at the same time as the "Niwabi's Fire Dance", and to download the Elemental Burst last.
