In Genshin Impact Abyssal pearls are special items that open a passage to a secret room located in an upside down building in the Nameless Ruins (Achievement: Chasm) and containing many chests. They drop from unique black armors that can be encountered in this underground area.
In this guide, we will tell you where you can find all the pearls of the abyss, and how to open a secret entrance in an upside down structure. We advise you to take up the search for these items after completing the quest chain "The Chasm Delvers" and the tasks of the archons "Requiem of the Echoing Depths". In this case, you will have the entire map of underground mines open.
Where to find the pearls of the abyss
In total, you can find 9 pearls of the abyss. The current amount can be viewed in the inventory in the "Task" section. They all drop from mobs. Some of them are in open areas, while others will need to be carefully searched. The map below shows the approximate location of all the black armor you need.
Orb of the Blue Depths 1
Located in a large tunnel leading to the last location of the Breach. You will most likely come across a black armor named Rethel located here while doing the main quest.

Move to the teleporter in the center of the Glowing Passages. Turn around and run to the edge of the cliff to the south. Plan down and to the left. You will see a river and a stone barrier that you need to blow up with barrels.
Get into the secret area. There will be a precious chest and another black armor named Herger. Deal with him to get the desired gem.

Go to the new camp of the geo-reconnaissance squad, located in the southeast of the Luminous Passages. From the teleport, run south, going down the tunnel. Then jump into a deep hole. Ronet's black armor will be waiting for you at the bottom. Defeat him to get the stone.

Teleport to the fast travel point in the southern part of the Stone Halls. Turn left and jump off the ledge. Run forward a little and then turn left near the stone wall. You will need to destroy it with any attacks.
Inside you will find two regular black armors and a mini-boss Bulvife waiting for you. Destroy all opponents to get one pearl.

After moving to the teleporter in the Nameless Ruins, run forward and drop down through the opening, then glide down by flying southwest. Below in the black goo you will see the next mini-boss Serkir. We advise you to destroy the mud well with the Adjuvant to make the battle easier for yourself.

Teleport to the fast travel point in the Underground Waters. Immediately jump off the cliff and fly to the opposite side, and then turn left and Enter the ruins. Walk forward and jump off the ledge again. In the distance, you will notice a new black armor. His name is Higlak. Deal with him to get the desired item.

She can be found near the teleportation point in the Cave of the Serpent. After teleporting, immediately jump off the edge of the cliff and land on the very bottom of the dungeon. Haltaf will stand in a black liquid, which is recommended to be dispelled.
Orb of the Blue Depths 8 (miner's Key )
To get to the desired location, you first have to find miner's Key. Move again to the teleporter in the Cave of the Serpent. Jump off the cliff and glide down, then climb the slope forward and up. Next, turn right, and you will see a springboard near the wreckage of a giant ring. Use it and fly further into the tunnel.
In this mine, various gears and other metal parts will be scattered everywhere on the ground. Inspect them to collect pestilence. Toward the end, you will find another gear, in the study of which you will be able to find the necessary key.
Continue moving deeper into the mine. You will get into a dead end. At the same time, barrels will stand near the wall - blow them up to create a new passage. Walk forward and you will return to the Temporary Main Adit.
Here you will need to find a closed grate. To do this, run to the far northwest corner of the location. The right place is shown in the screenshots above. Inside you will find the black Skeld armor. Deal with him to get a new pearl. We add that here you can also find a precious chest and Lumenspar.
Orb of the Blue Depths 9
It is located in Groundwater, but the path to it will be quite long, since you will have to go from the Main Mining Zone. An example route is shown in the screenshot below. There is also a secret path from the Temporary Main Adit. To use it, you need to break the barrier (shown on the map).
We will demonstrate a long route, as most will probably use it. Upon reaching the body of water, you will come across two black armor pieces. One of them will bear the name of Edgeto. It is from him that the item you need drops out.
How to open the secret room in the Nameless Ruins
So, having collected all 9 pearls of the abyss, move to the inverted teleporter in the central hall of the Nameless Ruins. Then climb up and go through the hole at the top. Run forward past the room where the final fight was story mission with Dinsleif, and enter the passage next to the giant roots.
Jump down the ledge and glide a little further. On the left side across the abyss you will see a console in the form of a cube. Interact with her and give 9 Abyssal Pearls. As a result, you will unlock the trophy GREDE TENEBRAE and a secret passage.
Enter the secret room. Here you will find luxurious, rich and precious chests, as well as a mysterious Letter. It should be noted that the last line on the piece of paper will be different for almost every player. Perhaps this is due to some other hidden quest or puzzle.
