In Sons of the Forest, the Revolver is a powerful firearm that can replace your regular gun. In this guide, we will tell you where you can find this gun, whether it can be upgraded, and which ammo is suitable for it.

Where to find the revolver in Sons of the Forest

Before you go looking for this weapon, you should get shovel because it will take a lot of digging. Having obtained this tool, go to the northwestern part of the island and find a construction site north of a small river. You can easily see it, as it is in an open area, and there are two large boulders nearby.

Then pick up a shovel and start digging in the area between the two surveying instruments and the golf cart. As a result, you will dig a hatch into the next bunker. Open it and climb inside.

Now go forward along the narrow corridor and take the right passage (if you go further, you can find random supplies) to get into the half-finished room. Here you will find the corpse of a worker, near which lies a revolver. There are no more valuable items here.

Is it possible to improve the revolver

Unfortunately, it is impossible to install mounts and body kits on this weapon. Apparently, the developers decided that even without these modules, the revolver is an extremely powerful weapon, which, however, is not far from the truth, since this gun is much superior to the gun in terms of firepower.

Where to find revolver ammo

Like a regular pistol, the revolver uses 9mm rounds, meaning you won't need to find any special bullets for it. Possible spawn locations for the ammo you need are shown in the screenshot below. You can also use interactive map to see additional locations.

How to dupe ammo (infinite)

As such, there is no ammo dupe in Sons of the Forest, but there is still a way to get an almost infinite number of bullets. First of all, find a shelter, a bunker, or any other location where you have the ammo you need (see the map above).

Then set up a camp nearby (if there is no bed in this place), collect all the ammunition, create a save and exit from the main menu. Load the created save and you will find that all the bullets have recovered again. You can repeat doing this any number of times. Naturally, you can also use codes for infinite ammo.
