In Sons of the Forest, clothes are one of the types of equipment for the protagonist and his companions. It will help you fight the cold in the winter months, stay in the water for a long time and feel comfortable in a wide variety of climates. In this guide, we will tell you where you can find all the things for the character, Virginia And Kelvin.
Characteristics of clothing in Sons of the Forest
First of all, we note that clothing should not be confused with armor, since the latter is necessary to increase the character's protection from damage. Things, on the other hand, have completely different characteristics, namely:
- Warmth (orange bar) - it shows how warm the clothes are. The higher this parameter is, the better the character will be able to endure the cold when exploring snowy locations or the onset of winter.
- Comfort (Purple Bar) – This indicates how comfortable the garment is. True, at this point in time it is not clear exactly what exactly this parameter affects. Perhaps the higher it is, the faster the character moves or performs physical actions.
- Water resistance (blue bar) - it indicates how waterproof the garment is. The higher this parameter is, the lower the likelihood that you will get hypothermia if you wake up in a pond for too long or stand in the rain.
Consider these attributes when choosing what to wear at the current time. We advise you to keep in your inventory one set of warm and waterproof clothing.
Where to find clothes for Kelvin and the hero
We are talking about things that can be worn not only by your character, but also by a companion. They will show up in your inventory, unlike outfits meant for Virginia. Below is their location and characteristics.
Note: In some places, things drop randomly, so it's hard to predict what exactly you will find in them.
Leather Jacket
You can definitely find her at the light plane crash site, located in the southeastern part of the island, relatively close to two possible spawn locations. The plane is in an open area, so it can be seen from afar. Go to the cockpit and pick up a jacket that protects well from getting wet.
The second spawn location for this outfit is in the same cave as the stun gun. Moreover, it can be found right next to this weapon and a corpse suspended from the ceiling. The entire route is shown in another our guide. Note that here, instead of a leather jacket, there may be a sweatshirt or tactical jacket.
Windbreaker
She can be found inside a coffin located on a mass grave located in the northeastern part of the island, not far from the coast. The exact location is shown in the screenshots below.
The tuxedo
Not very practical, but extremely stylish costume, which can be found in the underground bunker A, located in the northeastern part of the island. Here is also located staff key card. Dig a hatch, go down to the shelter, go forward along the corridor and turn right.
Then go to the back of the room and go to the bathroom. You will find the clothes you need on the closet on the left side.
Wetsuit
It is located in the same cave as the shovel, so before you go there, you should get scuba diving And rope thrower. The entrance to the dungeon is shown in the screenshots below.
You will be able to find a swimming suit after you use the rope gun and swim underwater for a few meters. The entire route is shown in our separate material. Note that this clothing has a huge resistance to water, so it is ideal for long swims.
Sweatshirt
It can be found in three places. The first we have already considered above (it can drop out to you instead of a leather jacket in a cave). The second is also located in the northeastern region of the island. Find the Aboriginal camp and examine one of the tents. The exact location is shown in the pictures below.
The third sweatshirt can be found in the central-eastern part of the island, not far from one of the hero's spawn locations. Move to the next settlement of cannibals and examine the tent next to the pot. There you will find the item you are looking for, which protects well from the cold. Note that in any of these places, instead of a sweatshirt, you can find a leather or tactical jacket.
Winter Jacket
She can be found in an abandoned camp located in the southeastern area of the island, not far from the reservoir (see screenshots below). In one of the tents next to the corpse you will find a winter jacket. Note that we are talking about the warmest clothes in the game, so you will definitely not freeze in it on cold winter evenings.
Pajamas
It can be found in two places. First pajamas located in the same bunker as guest key card. Before you go there, get the Staff Key Card. Then go to the place shown in the pictures below.
Walk a little through the cave and enter the corridor. Turn left and walk towards the light. Then turn right and go through the double doors using the Staff Key Card. You will enter a spacious room. Move to the purple screen ahead and turn left.
Go through the gym, keeping left, and then go left into the room with orange panels. There will be a lot of monsters here, so either go around them (many mutants are blind, but hear well, so move slowly), or try to lure the enemies one at a time. Then turn right and check the shelves in the corner to find pajamas.
Second pajama hidden in the final bunker. To open it, you need VIP key card. Head to the location shown in the pictures below and unlock the door. Go inside the shelter, turn left, and then go down the stairs to the lower level. Turn into the open left passage. Move forward through three identical rooms (in the third room there will be a white toy rabbit on the floor). Then turn left again and run down the stairs even lower. Go through the open yellow door to the left.
Exit this room and turn left at the fork. Go forward along the corridor, and near the reception desk, turn left into the gallery, and then enter the right passage. Go down the corridor and before entering the VIP area, turn the camera to the right and take the pajamas from the closet. Note that this is the most convenient thing in the game.
Where to find clothes for Virginia
These things can only be worn by your companion. To transfer clothes, just approach the girl, interact with her, open your inventory and select the desired outfit.
Camouflage suit
It is located on the northeast coast of the island. You will find him aboard a red canoe. The exact location is shown in the screenshots below.
Dress
It lies in the same bunker as the VIP key card. First, you will need to get this card in the security room, and then open the double doors and go to the VIP areas. Here, search the sofas on the right. The entire route to it is shown in relevant guide.
Sports suit
It can be found in the same bunker as the first pajama. Get to the gym, go to its left side and find an outfit on one of the simulators.
Leather suit
It was added to the game with the release of patch 1.01. It can be found near the helicopter landing site, located in the northeastern part of the island next to the reservoir. Approach the rotorcraft and take the outfit from the back seat. Be careful, as there may be dangerous cannibals nearby.
