Metal keys on Jinren's island Genshin Impact allow you to open several closed cells located nearby. By opening them all, you can get a couple of items in the collection, an achievement and also start the quest. Below we will indicate the location of all keys and how to use them.
Location of all metal keys and cages
All items discussed in the article are located on Jinren Island in Inazuma. If the movement point is not yet open, you can use the anchorage south of this place and call on the wavewalker to move through the water. We have previously taken some of the keys, but the screenshots show the places of their direct location.
Where to find all metal keys
First Key: near the teleport
To the point of movement on the island are wooden stairs. On the upper platform of this structure lies the first Metal Key - you can get here from below, or you can just jump down from the teleport.
Second Key: boxes behind the samurai
Another Metal Key can be picked up on a platform located along the cliff behind the samurai camp.
Third Key: boxes in front of the samurai
A similar place is located on the opposite side of the camp, closer to the move point. On the boxes is the third Key.
Fourth Key: south side
To the south of the previous point is the last key. It is enough to go around the rock and find a platform with supplies.
Cage Key
Another Key is a little different from the rest: it is needed to open a cage on top of a mountain overlooking the island. It is hidden in the crown of a tree and is part of the quest "The Farmer’s Treasure". The closed grate in the samurai camp (the central part of the island) also belongs to the same task.
What to open with metal keys
Achievement "Who Let the Dogs Out"
In a cage on the eastern half of the island, a dog named Torataro is caged. When you release it, you will immediately receive Achievement "Who Let the Dogs Out", but if you show patience and follow the rescued four-legged friend, at the end point of the route you will also be rewarded with a precious chest.
Three cages on an island
We have numbered the remaining cells on the island in the screenshot above. All of them are located on a large island: one near the samurai camp, two on the southern and northern slopes.
The first cell is right next to the ronin camp and contains a rich chest. The other two are suspended from the slopes of the mountain and will be easiest to glide from the top, then grabbing onto the sheer walls next to them. The second cell contains page with text, a fairy will fly out of the third, which will open for you an ordinary chest hidden nearby.
