    Bronya in Honkai Star Rail: a guide to the best builds

    Melnica

    Bronya in Honkai: Star Rail is 5 star character, which has Wind damage and follows the path of Harmony. She, having one of the strongest buffing abilities in the game, is able to increase the damage of your main damage dealer many times over. In this guide, you will find out what equipment will increase her potential, as well as get acquainted with the teams in which the High Guardian will be the most useful ally.

    The main features of the Bronya

    How to get Bronya

    Since Armor is a standard character, she can come to you at any time. She is one of the possible legs that can be obtained in starting or in constant jump. You can also get Armor by losing 50/50 on the event character banner. Unfortunately, you can be guaranteed to take her to your place only if, after making three hundred spins in a standard banner, you choose her from all the proposed legs.

    Bronya stat progression

    As the heroine's level increases, her base indicators will also change.

    Level Health Attack Power Protection Speed Crete. chance Crete. damage mockery
    1 169 79 73 99 5% 50% 100
    20 329 154 142 99 5% 50% 100
    40 634 297 272 99 5% 50% 100
    60 938 440 403 99 5% 50% 100
    80 1242 582 534 99 5% 50% 100

    Pros and Cons of Bronya

    There are several pleasant moments in the assembly and gameplay of the High Guardian:

    • When picking up stats, it does not require a balance of crits, since its main damage is dealt by an ordinary attack, which, thanks to one of the passives, has a 100% chance of critical damage.
    • Makes it easier for allies to gain critical damage by allowing them to prioritize critical hit chance when leveling.
    • Able to advance the action of the hero by 100%, thanks to which the character can go again and even deal finishing damage to the enemy.
    • Can remove a debuff from an ally that the Armor applied the skill to.
    • If necessary, using a basic attack is able to deal good damage on its own, thanks to a build with increased critical damage.

    But at the same time, Armor, like any other character, has its drawbacks that must be considered when playing for it:

    • It is highly desirable to have the first eidolon, which will partially restore skill points, allowing the Armor to constantly maintain a buff on the damageer, revealing its full potential.
    • It is advisable to adjust the Armor's speed to the appropriate value of your main damage in order to effectively use its ability to move the action 100% forward.

    Bronya Abilities

    When using skill "Bullet Flying in the Wind" the heroine shoots a single enemy with a rifle, dealing air damage equal to 50~130% of the attack value.

    With skill "Combat redeployment" The armor can remove one debuff from a teammate, causing them to instantly take an action and increase their damage by 33~82.5% for one turn. When activating this skill on herself, the heroine cannot make a move a second time.

    Ultimate "March of Belobog" increases the attack of the entire team by 33~66%, and critical damage by 12~18% of the corresponding indicator of the Armor itself + 12 + 24%. This buff lasts for two turns.

    After using Light Attack Armor, thanks to the talent "One step ahead", her next turn speeds up by 15~37.5%.

    Equipment activation "Under the banner of command" before entering the battle, increase the unit's attack value by 15% for two turns.

    Bronya Traces

    The rest of the heroine’s buffs are aimed at buffing herself and the entire squad, as well as increasing her critical and wind damage indicators. You can see the details in the image below.

    Eidolons

    Since Armor is a standard heroine, over time you will surely be able to collect several eidolons for her by obtaining copies of her from various banners. Next, you can find out what power-ups each of them gives.

    1. Sharpen Your Strength - Activating the Combat Relocation skill has a 50% chance to not consume a skill point. This effect has a cooldown of one turn.
    2. Fast March - activating a skill on a teammate, in addition to other buffs, speeds it up by 30% for one turn.
    3. Artillery Barrage - Grants 2 extra ult levels and a talent. Max level: 15.
    4. Surprise the Enemy - When an ally basic attack hits an enemy with air weakness, the Armor immediately strikes after them, dealing wind damage equal to 80% of its normal attack damage. This skill can only be activated once per turn.
    5. Unstoppable - gives 2 levels to the skill and 1 - to an ordinary attack. Their maximum level is 15 and 10 respectively.
    6. Piercing the Rainbow - The duration of the buff from the skill lasts one turn longer.

    Although the Armor perfectly strengthens the characters without eidolons, it needs E1 for this to be more effective. With it, Armor will consume less skill points, which means it will be able to make a basic attack less often and buff your main damage dealer more often. E2 is useful if your ally wants to move as often as possible. E4 will help you debuff enemies with wind vulnerability faster and gain energy for your ultimate. If you are lucky enough to get E6, which is also pretty good, then you can keep the buff on the ally all the time or buff not only the main but also the hero's sub-dps.

    How to play Bronya

    The newly minted Supreme Guardian has a huge buffering potential that can significantly increase the damage of the entire squad. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of her skills:

    • Before the battle, use the Armor technique. So, at the very beginning of the battle, you will receive a 15% bonus to attack.
    • It's best to target your main damage unless you need to remove an interfering debuff on another ally or urgently use a healer ability.
    • When assembling the Armor, try to make her speed slightly slower than the damage dealer she will be using her skill on. Thus, your ally will be able to go as many as two times, causing even more damage. This will be especially valuable for heroes who gain any stacks by their actions, for example, they are Jing Yuan or Blade.
    • Try to use skill points wisely. If you see that there are quite a few of them left, and it will be more effective to apply a buff to an ally in the next turn, then it is better to use an ordinary attack now so that you can maximize your damage dealer in the next rotation.

    Best Bronya Builds

    The best light cones

    Armor has a fairly wide selection weapons. Remember that you should choose cones of the path of Harmony so that the heroine can use their ability. You will benefit from bonuses to energy regeneration or critical damage, as well as buffs for the whole team or an ally who will take an action after Armor. In the table below you will see several possible options.

    Name Characteristics Ability

    The battle is not over (5 stars)

    Health: 53~1164

    Attack Power: 24~529

    Protection 21~463

    Increases wearer's energy regeneration rate by 10-18%. Once in two uses, the ultimate can restore one skill point. An ally whose effect occurs after the wearer activates the skill gains a 30-50% bonus to all damage for one turn. Armor signature. Thanks to her, the High Guardian will gain an ult faster, as well as generate skill points that she can use not for a basic attack, but for a skill that will further strengthen an ally.

    Past and Future (4 stars)

    Health: 43~953

    Attack Power: 19~423

    Protection 18~397

    An ally acting after the wearer activates the skill gains a 16-32% bonus to all damage for the turn. Pretty good cone that increases the Armor skill buff. The indisputable advantage of this weapon is the ability to easily awaken it by buying copies in the Lightcones Passage.

    Cut the moon and tailor the clouds (4 stars)

    Health: 43~953

    Attack Power: 22~476

    Protection 15~331

    When it's the wearer's turn to act, all allies can randomly receive one of the following buffs: increased attack value by 10-20%, increased critical damage by 12-24%, or increased energy regeneration by 6-12%. The new effect obtained replaces the previous one and cannot be identical to it. When the wearer becomes unable to fight, the buff is removed. Although this cone has some pretty useful bonuses, it's randomness is a bit of an inconvenience since you can't be sure you'll get exactly the buff you need at the moment. In addition, you can get it only by purchasing a battle pass.

    Dance! Dance! Dance! (4 stars)

    Health: 43~954

    Attack Power: 19~423

    Protection 18~397

    Activating the ultimate by the wearer speeds up the entire squad by 16-24%. The cone does not provide a direct bonus to Armor abilities, but it does allow the entire squad to move more frequently, dealing more damage. Also, this buff will be useful when going through content with a limited number of cycles, for example Hall of Oblivion.

    Date with the stars (4 stars)

    Health: 48~1058

    Attack Power: 19~423

    Protection 15~331

    Attack damage of heroes with the same element as the wearer is increased by 12-24%. This weapon will be useful only if your damage dealer, like Armor, has wind damage, such as Dan Heng or Blade.

    Memories of the past (4 stars)

    Health: 43~953

    Attack Power: 19~423

    Protection 18~397

    The wearer's penetration is increased by 28-56%, and their attack has a chance to restore 4-8 additional energy. This cone makes sense if you don't have E1 or already have E4, because only in this situation will the Armor use a normal attack often enough to be a full-fledged sub-DD that implements the weapon's passive.

    Horus (3 stars)

    Health: 38~847

    Attack Power: 14~318

    Protection 12~265

    When the battle begins, the unit's attack power is increased by 8-12%. This effect cannot stack. This cone can be quite useful at first, but only when playing with allies whose skills are scaled by attack power.

    Clutch gears (3 stars)

    Health: 38~847

    Attack Power: 14~318

    Protection 12~265

    When the wearer is attacked or hits the enemy himself, 4-8 units of energy are replenished in him. This bonus can only trigger once per turn. Suitable if there are no alternatives. With it, Armor will be able to use his ultimate more often and buff the whole team.

    Best Relics

    Among the cave artifacts on Armor, a full set will show itself most effectively "Herald Wandering in Hacker Space", which will increase the speed of the heroine herself, and the activation of her ult will speed up her teammates. You can also use kits "Eagle of the Twilight Line" or "Wild Wheat Shooter", which will increase the damage of the High Guardian's normal attack and allow her to move more often. In the absence of a good full set, you can also give Armor 2 + 2 from the last two sets, although this option will be somewhat worse than the others proposed.

    From planar jewelry, you can look at the following options:

    • Ageless Fleet - Although the Armor does not need any additional HP, the 12% attack power bonus is a great addition to its abilities, but you will have to watch the speed value to get this buff.
    • Celestial Differentiator - Since the Armor buffs critical damage from its own stat, it will really benefit from the 16% bonus that this set gives.

    When choosing between these sets, be guided by the best stats in them, as well as the needs of your squad: you may have other attack buffers or your damage dealer scales from a different stat, so in this case, the second set is most likely to suit you.

    In terms of features, you should look for the following things:

    • Body: critical damage;
    • Legs: speed or attack power%;
    • Planar Sphere: Wind Damage Bonus%;
    • Connecting rope: energy recovery;
    • Additional stats: critical damage, speed, attack power%.

    Top Teams

    Armor is a great buffer that does not require any additional conditions to implement talents, so it is suitable for any team. You are unlikely to build a squad around her, but the High Guardian will make an excellent pair with a strong damage dealer, for example with Zele or Jing Yuan. Add to them one more support character and a healer, and with such a squad, with proper pumping of heroes, you can easily go through any content. Armor will not be useless even for Blade, who, although playing mostly on HP rather than attack, will still appreciate the increase in critical damage and overall outgoing damage, as well as removing debuffs.

    Below you can find examples of teams in which allies will be happy to see Armor as a buffer.

    Bronya Leveling

    How to raise armor

    Approximately every 10 levels, you will have to level up the heroine in order to be able to develop her further. The materials you will need for this can be found below.

    • Ascension at level 20: x4000 credits and x5 Silvermane Guards badge;
    • Ascension at level 30: x8000 credits and x10 Silvermane Guards badge;
    • Ascension at level 40: credits x16000, insignia of the Silvermane Guardians x6 and eye of the storm x3;
    • Ascension at level 50: credits x40000, insignia of the Silvermane Guardians x9 and eye of the storm x7;
    • Ascension at level 60: credits x80000, Silvermane Guards medal x6 and eye of the storm x20;
    • Ascension at level 70: credits x160000, medal of the Silvermane Guardians x9 and eye of the storm x35.

    The eye of the storm can be obtained from completing Stagnant Shadow in Riveting City.

    How to improve armor abilities

    In the images below you will see how many materials you will need to fully upgrade all the Armor skills.

    • Various insignia of the Silvermane Guardians drop from the soldiers of this unit and the Belobog rogues, including those who are in virtual universe.
    • Music boxes of different levels are obtained by completing the Harmony Sepal Challenge in the Robot Settlement or bought in the Pom-Pom Shop.
    • Imprints of Destiny can be obtained as a reward for completing trials in the Virtual Universe, Honor of the Nameless, and various events. You can also buy them for cashback from spins.
    • You can get the Sorrow of the Guardian by defeating Kokoliya in the Echo of War on Belobog.

    As for prioritizing skill upgrades, level up your skill and ultimate first, as they will allow the Armor to better perform its primary buffering function. Talent and basic attack come next, as they are inextricably linked. Don't completely forget about these skills, especially if you don't have E1, since in this case, the Armor will most likely use an ordinary strike quite often, which means you will want it to deal increased damage.
