In Genshin Impact Lynette is 4 star character, which possesses Anemo the eye of a god, and in battle uses a one-handed sword. In a team, she can perform the function of a support and / or a secondary damage dealer. In this guide, we will tell you about her best builds, weapons and artifacts, as well as recommended units for her.

Note: The Magician's Assistant is not yet officially released, so the data presented here is based on information received during the beta testing. If necessary, we will update the guide when the heroine appears in the game.

    Main features of Lynette

    How to get Lynette

In the first phase of update 4.0 (August 16), this cat girl will appear in banner, which will allow you to get it with a high probability. Then she will most likely be added to the standard Prayer, which will reduce the chance of the swordswoman falling out. At the same time, developers often hold events in which they give 4-star heroes for free. We'll be sure to let you know when an event occurs.

In addition, starting with patch 4.0, this heroine can be obtained completely free of charge after reaching the 25th adventure rank (if you have already reached the corresponding value, then you can pick up the character on the Show without End event page).

    Lynette's characteristic progression

The table below shows how a character's base stats change as they level up.

Level Base HP Basic Attack Basic protection Bonus Anemo% Crit chance. hits Crete. damage
    1 1039 19 60 0% 5% 50%
    20 2670 50 153 0% 5% 50%
    40 5163 96 296 6% 5% 50%
    60 8168 153 469 12% 5% 50%
    80 10987 205 631 18% 5% 50%
    90 12397 232 712 24% 5% 50%

    Advantages and disadvantages of Lynette

Thanks to her unique abilities, Lynette can buff allies and deal good damage from her pocket. Its advantages also include:

    • Great for teams with characters of different elements, since the more types of elements there are, the stronger it will buff the attack power of all allies. At the same time, it will be able to show itself well in packs with one main element.
    • Can deal Anemo damage from pocket, summoning a cat box to the battlefield. This object also distracts enemies towards itself, thereby increasing the survivability of the active character.
    • With the 1st constellation, it gets the ability to pull enemies into one point, with the 2nd one it improves the imposition of statuses, with the 4th one it enhances the elemental skill, and with the 6th one it gives the Anemo sword an infusion. Thus, the constellations allow you to comprehensively develop the heroine, significantly expanding her abilities as a support and a sub-DD.
    • Once C6 is unlocked, Lynette can be used as drivers, in which the main focus will not be on Elemental Reaction: Swirl and reactions, but on dealing Anemo damage.
    • It has a relatively high defense rate, which increases its survivability.
    • As she ascends, her Anemo damage increases, which increases her overall ability damage (and normal attacks with C6 unlocked).
    • Can instantly move around the battlefield thanks to an elemental skill. It can also be used when exploring the world, quickly running long distances.
    • Shows on the mini-map nearby recovery spheres that can increase HP and stamina while underwater.

True, it was not without its minuses, which at this point in time include:

    • Lynette is frankly weak in the absence of constellations, as she is not able to either pull enemies together, or effectively impose statuses, or cause significant damage. As a support, she will be worse than Sucrose, but as a sub-DD, she will be seriously inferior to Xiangling.
    • At the same time, even for 4-star characters, opening C6 can take a lot of time and resources, which, of course, is not suitable for F2P players.
    • No bonuses for mastery of the elements and even with the C2 opening, the efficiency of her application is lower than that of other supports / sub-DD, so it will not be possible to effectively play her through Elemental Reaction: Swirl and reactions.
    • The box that appears after using the ult is not able to distract the bosses.
    • Ulta, although it is relatively inexpensive (70 units), however, the heroine may still have problems with the restoration of energy (EP) in the absence of C4.
    • In mono packs, her passive talent buff will be almost invisible, and due to the lack of MS, it is recommended to put her in units with a small variety of elements.

    Lynette's abilities

When performing a normal attack "Swift Rapier" the assistant performs up to 4 blows with the blade, and when charged, she makes two quick swings with the sword, consuming a little stamina. In the event of an air attack, it lands on the ground, dealing damage in an area and hitting everyone in its path.

Explanation: low base attack and lack of any infusion at C0 makes normal strikes almost useless. It is not worth spending resources on pumping them. However, if you unlock the 6th Constellation, you will be able to sustain Anemo Infusion on an almost constant basis using a two-charge elemental skill. As a result, you will be able to turn it into a driver.

After quickly pressing the elemental skill button "Disappearing Trick" the swordswoman makes a quick lunge, dealing damage to enemies in front of Anemo and restoring health in proportion to her maximum HP, and then every second for 4 seconds, she will be deprived of hit points.

When long pressing the skill, Lynette enters the Shadow Thief state and places a mark on one nearby enemy. Having completed the movement, she performs a lunge, and if an enemy with a sign is present on the battlefield, the swordsman will instantly move towards him before making a blow. Plus, she still recovers and consumes health.

In addition, after lunging, the assistant will from time to time call the Blade of a turbulent current, inflicting damage to Anemo ushii. Unfortunately, the effectiveness of this attack cannot be calculated now.

Explanation: so, the skill can restore the heroine 25% health, and then spend 24% HP. In the absence of constellations, you can use a long press only to increase your mobility and accurately hit enemies. With C1, it is useful for creating whirlwinds that pull enemies together. In general, the skill deals good damage, gives 4 particles of energy and activates the Emerald Shadow.

If you activate an Elemental Burst "Amazing Transformation", then the character will throw a huge hat in front of him, which will distract opponents towards himself and periodically inflict Anemo damage on them. When combined with Cryo, Hydro, Electro, or Pyro, this box will absorb the element and begin periodically firing Bright Projectiles at enemies that deal damage to that element. The hat can absorb only one element per use.

Explanation: the hat is on the field for 12 seconds, managing to deal Anemo damage in an area with a radius of almost 5 meters exactly 11 times, causing the Elemental Reaction: Swirl reaction no more than 5 times. If you hit the hat directly with elemental damage (not a very reliable way), then it will absorb the corresponding element and begin to deal additional damage. Although Lynette's ult is inferior to elemental explosions of such sub-DDs as Xiangling or Xingqiu, however, it significantly exceeds Sucrose's superpower.

It is also impossible not to talk about the special passive talents of the heroine, which include:

    • Point Mnemonic - Shows the location of Resurrection Orbs on the mini-map. Collecting these orbs increases health and stamina underwater by 25%.
    • Synergy of accomplices - if there are fighters with 1/2/3/4 types of elements in the team, if the ult is activated, the attack power of all team members increases by 8%/12%/16%/20% for 10 seconds.
    • Full Props - After the hat absorbs the elements, the damage from the ult is increased by 15%. The bonus works until the end of the cat box.

    Constellations Lynette

To unlock them, you need Character Serendipity , which is given when duplicates of the heroine appear, which, of course, is random. However, the probability of getting 4-star characters is much higher than legendary ones, so you may well open at least a couple of constellations.

It is recommended to unlock the first two constellations, which will allow you to pull enemies together and deal increased elemental burst damage. C4 will also be of great benefit, with which you can use the E-shka twice, reducing the tie interval, increasing the overall damage and speeding up Obtaining Energy.

    1. Shadow Ridge Blade – Allows you to create a Whirlpool that pulls nearby enemies towards you if you hit a Shadow Marked target with E-Shadow.
    2. Ordinary Riddles - The hat triggered by the ult will fire two bright shots at the same time.
    3. Mind Twisted Vision - Increases elemental explosion level by 3. Maximum level: 15th.
    4. Complete Consensus - Increases the number of charges of an elemental skill by one.
    5. Hidden Barriers - Increases elemental skill level by 3. Maximum level: 15th.
    6. Truth-Seeing Eye - Lunging with Shadow grants Anemo Infusion and a 20% bonus to Anemo Damage for 6 seconds. With the help of this constellation, you can turn Lynette into a full-fledged Anemo driver, like Sucrose and Shikanoin Heizou.

    How to play Lynette

As we noted above, in the absence of constellations, Lynette loses significantly to the same Sucrose, since she cannot pull enemies together, play through Elemental Reaction: Swirl , or be an Anemo driver. She is just a mediocre sub-DD, inferior in terms of damage to Xiangling, Xingqiu and other good 4-star secondary damage dealers.

With the opening of the constellations, the assistant's business becomes noticeably better - her screed is stronger than Sucrose's and does not depend on the ult, and with C4 she can be activated as often as Kazuha's. In the presence of C6, she becomes a good Anemo driver, as she boasts a relatively high strike speed and Anemo damage.

However, even when opening the 2nd constellation, due to the lack of a high MC, the applicator from it turns out to be so-so, therefore it is not recommended to play it through Elemental Reaction: Swirl and reactions. You can take it to units where there are no high requirements for this parameter, for example, in mono packs or in Freeze teams.

We add that on C1 it is necessary to use the elemental skill with a long press more often, and if this constellation is closed, then you can not bother with applying shadow marks to enemies, since the damage of the skill will not increase from this. As for the rotation, it might look like this:

    1. Use a single or double elemental skill with a quick or long press (depending on the open constellations) to deal Anemo damage to enemies.
    2. If you have C6 unlocked, then stay on Lynette to unlock the potential of Anemo Infusion. Otherwise, switch to other supports and sub-DDs to activate their out-of-pocket skills.
    3. After filling the scale of energy, activate the ult to summon the hat.
    4. Switch to a main damage dealer (or a character of another element) and hit the hat with it to make it fire additional projectiles.

    Best builds for Lynette

    The best weapon

In the role of a driver with an unlocked C6, an assistant will suit a weapon with critical damage and a chance of a critical hit. In its absence, you can take weapons for elemental mastery and Obtaining Energy. The table below shows the most interesting options.

Name and rarity Characteristics (level 1-90) Passive ability

    Primordial Jade Cutter (5 stars)

    Critical Hit Chance: 9.6%~44.1%

    Basic attack: 44-542

Increases the hero's health by 20%~40% and grants an attack bonus equal to 1.2%~2.4% of the hero's maximum health. The best option for sub-DD, giving Lynette all the necessary characteristics. The health boost will be good for her healing skill. Increasing crits and attack power will significantly increase the damage from magician abilities.

    Mistsplitter Reforged (5 stars)

    Critical Damage: 9.6~44.1%

    Basic Attack: 48~674

Grants a 12~24% elemental damage bonus. Dealing elemental damage with normal attacks or elemental explosions grants special seals that grant up to an additional 56 percent bonus to elemental damage. Exceeds the previous sword in total damage if the assistant is used as a driver, as it significantly increases her Anemo damage. When using this sword, it is recommended to activate the skill first, and only then apply the ult.

    Freedom-Sworn (5 stars)

    Elemental Mastery: 43~198

    Basic attack: 46-608

Increases damage dealt by 10% and accumulates Talismans of Empowerment even when the character is not on the battlefield. After collecting two talismans, they disappear, increasing allies' normal and charged hit damage by 16% and attack power by 20%. As we have already indicated above, Lynette does not play well from Dispersion, so elemental mastery is not as important to her as Sucrose, so the heroine’s personal damage will still be better to increase swords to crits than to MC. However, this sword can significantly increase the overall damage of the entire team and the effectiveness of the Viridescent Venerer set.

    Skyward Blade (5 stars)

    Obtaining Energy: 12%~55.1%

    Basic Attack: 46~608

Increases critical hit chance by 4%~8%. The ultimate awakens the power of the heavens, increasing movement and attack speed by 10%, and normal and charged attacks deal additional damage equal to 20% ~ 40% of attack power on hit. The duration of the buffs is 12 seconds. Thanks to HE, Lynette will be able to use her ultimate on CD more often, and the high basic attack and speed buff will increase the personal damage and mobility of the heroine. Crits does not give very much, but at least something.

    Wolf Fang (4 stars)

    Crit chance. hit rate: 6~27.6%

    Basic Attack: 42~510

Increases skill and ultimate damage by 16~32%. When a skill or elemental explosion hits an enemy, their critical chance increases by 2~4%. Bonuses can work simultaneously. Each one lasts 10 seconds and stacks up to four times. May appear once every 0.1 second. The best 4-star weapon for Lynette, as it significantly increases all the parameters she needs. But you can only get it from the Battle Pass, that is, for money.

    Sacrificial Sword (4 stars)

    Obtaining Energy: 13.3%~61.3%

    Basic attack: 41-454

Has a 40% chance to instantly restore the cooldown of an elemental skill when it deals damage. The effect works once every half a minute. Up to the 4th constellation will bring great benefits to the heroine, allowing her to use the E-shka twice. On C1, she will be able to pull enemies twice and get even more energy, which will give her the opportunity to use her ult more often. However, it is recommended to awaken this weapon to at least rank 3.

Grand Finale of the Depths (4 stars)

    Attack Power: 6~27.6%

    Basic Attack: 44~565

When using an elemental skill, ATK increases by 12~24% for 15 seconds. Plus, it inflicts an Oath of Life equal to 25% of the wearer's maximum health (may occur once every 10 seconds). After removing this mark, attack power increases by another 2.4~4.8% of HP given (max. 150~300) for 15 seconds. The oath takes away the healing received by the hero. Provides Lynette with a huge increase in attack power, which has a positive effect on ability damage, and thanks to her skill, the passive of the sword will work almost constantly.

    Xiphos’ Moonlight (4 stars)

    Elemental Mastery: 36~165

    Basic attack: 42-510

Every 10 seconds, increases the character's Obtaining Energy by 0.035% for each point of their Elemental Mastery. The effect lasts 12 seconds. Nearby allies receive 30% of this bonus. The buff stacks if the weapon is wielded by other party members. It allows you to restore energy for more frequent use of the ult and at least slightly increase the reactions due to the increase in the MS of the carrier and the entire team. We advise you to use it With You with the Emerald shadow.

    Amenoma Kageuchi (4 stars)

    Attack Power: 12~55.1%

    Basic Attack: 41~454

After using an elemental skill, it gives 1 heritage seed. The effect can occur once every 5 seconds. The seed works for half a minute. Up to three seeds can exist at the same time. After using the ult, all seeds disappear, and after two seconds, the character restores 6 units of energy for each seed. This free weapon can be obtained by completing the quest "The Farmer’s Treasure" . Significantly increases ATK, which has a positive effect on ability damage. To get the right amount of energy, you need to use the elemental skill twice, and then use the ult. Due to the 12 second cooldown, you won't be able to reach all seed levels, but the bonus will be significant anyway.

    Favonius Sword (4 stars)

    Obtaining Energy: 13.3%~61.3%

    Basic attack: 41-454

Critical hits have a 60% chance to restore 6 energy. The effect occurs every 12 seconds. Gives enough energy not only to Lynette, but to the entire squad. True, the passive requires a more frequent presence of the heroine on the battlefield and an increased chance of crit. hits (on the 5th awakening rank, the bonus will also work on low crits).

    Best Artifacts

If you plan to use Lynette as a pocket damage sub-DD, then we advise you to collect a full set "Emblem of Severed Fate", 2 parts of which increases the rate of energy regeneration by 20%, and 4 parts of which increases the damage from the explosion of the elements by an amount equal to 25% of the amount of energy regenerated. The maximum bonus can be increased up to 75%. You will be able to use your ult on cooldown and greatly increase its damage. This set is found in the dungeon "Momiji-Dyed Court".

If you have a strong main-DD related to Pyro, Hydro, Cryo or Electro elements in your team and use weapons for elemental mastery, we recommend taking the set "Viridescent Venerer" : 2 parts - Increases Anemo damage bonus by 15%; 4 pieces - Increases Dispel damage by 60%. If Dispel interacts with another element, reduces enemies' resistance to it by 40% for 10 seconds. Can be found in the dungeon "Valley of Remembrance".

With the 6th constellation where Lynette can deal significant Anemo damage, you should maximize her personal damage by taking two incomplete sets from the following sets:

    • Viridescent Venerer/ Desert Hall Chronicles: 2 pieces increase Anemo damage by 15%.
    • Gladiator’s Finale/ Shimenawa’s Reminiscence: 2 pieces increase attack power by 18%.
    • Emblem of Severed Fate: 2 pieces increase your energy regeneration rate by 20%.

An active damage dealer can also be taken "Vermillion Hereafter", 2 parts of which increase attack power by 18%, and 4 parts increase ATK by an additional 8% after using the ult for 16 seconds. Attack power can increase by an additional 10% when health is lost. The bonus stacks up to four times and occurs no more than once every 0.8 seconds. It disappears when the Achievement: Hero leaves the battlefield. With this set, the rotation should start with an elemental explosion and apply it every cycle. You can get it in the dungeon "The Lost Valley".

In the case of using the Precious Pool and opening C4, you can collect a full set "Radiance of Wurukashi" : 2 parts - increase the maximum HP of the character by 20%; 4 parts - Elemental skill and elemental explosion damage is increased by 10%. If the Achievement: Hero wearing this set takes damage, the damage boost bonus is increased by 80% for 5 seconds. This effect can stack up to five times. Time for each level is counted separately. The bonus is given even if the character is not on the battlefield. Dropped in a dungeon Molten Iron Fortress. Thanks to the double elemental skill, you will be able to keep the passive at the maximum almost all the time.

As for the main characteristics of the artifacts, then take the hourglass for attack power (or EP, if not enough), the bowl - the Anemo damage bonus, and the cap (crown) - for the chance of a critical hit / critical damage in the ratio of 1 to 2 (60 to 120 , For example). The priority of choosing additional attributes is as follows: Obtaining Energy > Crits > ATK% > Elemental Mastery.

    The best commands for Lynette

Lynette with constellations can compete with Kazuha in mono squads, where there are no reactions, and damage is dealt by one element. Basically, we are talking about the so-called frying squads with Pyro characters. However, she looks good in Anemo groups in the company of Faruzan, acting as a battery for the main-DD.

She can show herself well in Freeze teams, where a high Elemental Mastery score and frequent Elemental Reaction: Swirl are also not required. Again, you can take it in a mono pack for Cryo damage.

Although this swordswoman still looks pale in units for such reactions as Steam, Melt and Charged in comparison with Kazuha or Sucrose, she can still be used in them as an alternative option for the Spiral Abyss. The table below shows the most interesting options.
