Exploring Fontaine's underwater space Genshin Impact, players may stumble upon an unusual musical shell (echolusk), access to which is blocked by a water Hurdle. This curiosity is one of the many puzzles Hydro kingdom and is connected with the activation of the monuments of the fairies, and after solving it, you will receive one luxurious chest and the opportunity to loot Hydroculus. In the guide, we will show you how to find fairies and remove the obstacle above the echolusk.
Where is the echolusk located under the hydro barrier
This activity is located at the bottom of the Salos Sea Plateau, north of the Pale Forgotten Glory dungeon. Teleport to the dungeon and swim in a straight line to the area highlighted in the above screenshot.
How to unlock the reward
Under the barrier, around the echolusk, stand three fairy statues, which means that in order to remove it, you will have to bring all the creatures to their monuments. While solving the puzzle, you will interact with marine life, destroy enemies and obstacles, and use energy pneumonia. Next, consider where the fairies are hiding and what needs to be done for them to appear.
Fairy 1
Let's start the search for mysterious creatures from the wreckage of the ship, lying to the north of the water dome. As you approach the location, you will notice two mek rays that need to be destroyed.
Before engaging in combat, swim to xenochromic oscar and hit him with a normal underwater attack: this way your character will get the power of a creature with which you can easily defeat mobs.
Remember that the use of the powers of xenochromic creatures facilitates underwater combat. Although you can win without them, these skills significantly increase damage, and therefore reduce the time of the battle.
After the enemies are defeated, the fairy will free herself and wait in front of the hydro ring that appears - swim towards her to prompt the creature to return to its monument.
Fairy 2
The next location is located east of the echolusk: swim up to the shipwreck, around which there are several destructible rocks. On deck you will meet xenochrome Armored Crab. Absorb its power by attacking the creature, and then cast E-shka into the cobblestone we marked in the screenshot above. The blow will free the fairy and it remains only to swim up to her in order to send her towards the "home".
Fairy 3
And finally, to find the last fairy, swim to pneumonia device (it is located south of the barrier). It needs to be destroyed, but for this you need block with ushii energy.
Ushii's Orb is located by a stone pillar near the transmitter - swim up to the purple orb and grab it, then go back and hit the device. The attack will destroy the mechanism and release the fairy.
If all the fairies return to their statues, the dome will dissolve and only activate echolusk : Swim up to the shell and interact with it, and then watch a short cut-scene with the appearance of a large school of fish. Once you have control over the character, swim to the center of the funnel and collect the trophy.
In addition to a luxurious casket, a moving device will appear among a flock of fish. Enter it, and the energy will send the character to the surface to the place with the Hydroculus.
You will receive the following rewards for solving the fairy puzzle:
- Source Stones: 10 pts
- Hydro seal: 4 pcs.
- Hero’s Wit: 2 pcs.
Also, Mora, amplification ore, as well as random artifacts and weapons fall from the chest.
