What is Pneuma and Usiya
Arche, or pneuma and ousia, are two opposite energies that fill Fontaine's animate and inanimate nature. If ousia is affected by pneuma - and vice versa - annihilation will occur, which will limit the actions of your opponents, causing them to lose energy.
In the open world, you can find pneumonia energy blocks - a golden ousia block and a blue pneuma block. To use the collected energy, you need to make an attack - normal, charged or falling. You can do this even underwater.
Characters with arche
The pneuma and ousia energies are unique to the Fontaine heroes and the Hydro elemental traveler - they can release a certain type of energy using their skills, while heroes from other regions will have to look for energy blocks. The Hydro Traveler is available to all players after interacting with the statue of the Hydro Archon in Fontaine. Lynette can be obtained after reaching 25 Adventure Ranks. Thus, in your collection there will definitely be 2 heroes with opposite energies, which will make it easier to explore the water region. Even if you don't plan to play them, you can still use energy blocks - this way you will still be able to play characters from other regions, although it will be a little more difficult. Perhaps a couple of Fontaine's heroes are still worth pumping for the convenience of passing a new Twisted Abyss - and it will be made specifically for new fighters.

Blocks and storage boxes
Useful mechanics needed for squads where there is only one character with pneuma / ousia or no such heroes at all.
Storage boxes open with opposite energy and give you a block of energy.
Blocks are found not only in boxes, but just like that in the world - mostly next to riddles. Approach the block to take it. After that, it will fly near you until you use it with any attack.

As you explore the world, you'll come across meks, machines that also have arche energy. You can determine their energy by the color of the crystalline element - golden ousia and blue pneuma. By attacking them with the opposite energy, you will force the mechanisms into emergency mode, limiting their attacks. It is enough to attack an ordinary enemy with energy once to paralyze, while the elite ones will have to be hit 2 times.

Other opponents that Arche is effective against are Protogen and Cleft Primordia. These are special creatures that can create Dendro Noelle: Protector during the battle. You can destroy it either with elemental reactions, or with ousii and pneuma attacks - the latter, by the way, are the most effective.
Enemy buffs
Arche can be used not only on the Meks themselves, but also on amplifiers next to them. They are also charged with energy, which can be identified by color. The buff from the amplifier makes your enemies incomparably stronger, increasing both their attack power and resistance to all elements.
Hit the buff with ushii pneumo energy and vice versa - the enemies will lose all buffs and the fight will become much easier.
Airships
Antoine Roger's aircraft are activated using a special stance that you need to use pneumice on.
Power transmission poles
This is a type of puzzle similar to torches and elemental monuments. As with other mechanics, you need to act on the pillar with the opposite energy in order to activate it.

Fontaine's curiosity - Romaritime Flower - can be collected only by influencing the flower with pneuma energy.
Achievements with the energy of arche
Using Pneumonia in special situations will allow you to get several achievements:
