In Genshin Impact The Foggy Forest Branch is a special quest item that must be found for Pahsiv. They are hidden in chests scattered throughout the eastern part of Fontaine. In this guide you will learn how to get to these gizmos and open them. As a reward you will receive primogems and valuable materials.
Where to find all the branches of the misty forest in Genshin Impact
You will hear about branches for the first time from Melusine Pakhsiv after you complete the quest chain "The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes" and talk to her in the cave. She will ask you to find these items and bring them to her.
You can find 6 similar branches. Their approximate locations are shown on the map above. Often you will have to complete various Achievement: Challenger and solve puzzles before you can open chests with branches. Next we will tell you in detail how to get them.
The first Foggy Forest Branch
Travel to the teleporter located west of Lake Urania, then turn the camera south and you will see a tall peak with a red Achievement: Challenger marker at the top. Climb this rock and take on the challenge.
You will need to pick up 10 particles, spending no more than 45 seconds on this. First, glide down the mountain straight to the pond, and then dive under the water and collect the remaining 3 blue orbs.
Next, go into the water ring that appears, which will send you to the teleportation point, near which you will find a rich chest, where the thing you need lies.
Second Foggy Forest Branch
Teleport to the Statue of the Seven Archons in Erinyes Forest, then run east and climb the mountain. There you will find a small pond and a puzzle with water indicator intelligence crystals that needs to be solved.
Next, hit the blue crystal so that it lights up orange and the Hydro Vessels begin to move in a circle up and down. Hit the Elemental Reaction: Crystallize again when two of the jugs are in the water and the rest are hanging directly above them in the air, as demonstrated in the picture below.
Now pick up the Hydro Granum that is hanging over the rock and stand in the water to create a Hydro Core. Next, climb onto the large cobblestone, near which there are mechanisms hanging and insert the sphere into the bowl.
Wait a few seconds for the jugs to charge, and then go down and open the precious chest that appears below. Inside it you will find the item you need.
Third Foggy Forest Branch
Travel to the teleporter located north of the Path in the Misty Forest, and then start running north until you see a pond and a huge shell near the path.
Tap the sink to open it. In it you will find the Ushii power unit. Pick it up and then dive into the pond. At the bottom you will find a pneumusia storage device - hit it several times with simple attacks to destroy it. Instead, a rich chest will appear, in which the branch lies.
Fourth Foggy Forest Branch
She can be found behind a closed grate near a rusty ship washed ashore in the eastern part of the Erinyes Forest. To open it, you will need to find three keys to a simple vault. We have shown their location in separate guide. Behind bars you will find Hydroculus and a precious chest in which the branch lies.
Fifth Foggy Forest Branch
From the ship where you found the previous branch, go north, and soon you will notice a small lake, not far from which the treasure thieves have gathered. Deal with the opponents, and then take the xenochrome octopus ability from the device located a little east of the pond.
Now use your newly acquired skill on the stone cobblestone (sphere of potential energy) to throw it straight into the whirlpool in the pond. To do this, stand as shown in the picture below, hold down the “E” button, hold it for 3-4 seconds and release when the stone begins to vibrate.
Having removed the obstacle, you can now safely dive into the pond. Here you will find a Hydroculus and a portal leading to the bottom of the Great Lake of Fontaine. Lift the camera up and you will see chests - a branch is hidden in one of them.
The sixth Foggy Forest Branch
Travel to the teleporter east of the Weeping Willow, then head northeast until you see a small pond polluted with green slime. You will need to remove the contamination.
To do this, take the xenochrome octopus skill from the mechanism on the right. Then go to the pond and use the skill on the green clumps to destroy them. Wait until they swim close to the shore, and then shoot energy.
After clearing the water, dive into the pond and climb into the portal. As a result, you will find yourself in a secret dungeon. Inside you will find a rich chest with a twig. Then go up the ladder to collect the Hydroculus and exit the cave.
How to use Misty Forest branches
Now you will need to return to Pakhsiv. Let us remind you that you can find it in a cave located north of Lake Urania. The pictures below show the exact location of the melusine.
Chat with the baby and choose the answer “We brought branches.” Give her all 6 twigs, and then you will receive a well-deserved reward, namely: 40 primogems, 250 adventure points, 6 xenochrome crystals, 3 instructions on Impartiality and 3 fragments of Varunad lapis lazuli.
